Edit after the business responded:A. This review was about Bo Diddley, not the name of the nonprofit I was hosting, That’s why it wasn’t listed in the review. The staff member I talked to on the Tuesday prior and on the Friday when I ordered it, they were both well aware of who the nonprofit was. I do find it interesting that in addition, my military status (yes, I offered my ID too) did nothing to an order that totaled over $100. I obviously was ordering for more than just myself. With all the military in your family, I would’ve thought that would’ve gotten something for a discount given the size of the order. When I picked my order up, I was told specifically “I was told there is no discount on this order”.B. I am not “spreading” any negative comments, I am just leaving a review of my experience. I was asked by executives of the organization “Did BoDiddley’s treat you right?” My response was “no, I would not use them in the future”. It was then mentioned to me, unsolicited, by multiple people after that. So tell me, what is your policy on discounts? Military? Nonprofit? You don’t care to disclose it?Making your dining room more accessible - great for you! I am also a physically disabled vet and I applaud your efforts to make things more accessible. If you look through your receipts, you will find in total, I have spent almost $200 in food at your facility in the last 30 days. Saturday was not my first visit to your store in 2024.———original review——-1. I hear BoDiddley’s is under new ownership. It has been awhile since we were in college and ate there - the remodeled eating area, what happened to the charm and character?2. I placed a large order (over $100 in sandwhiches) this week for pick-up today. When I was doing my initial inquiries, I was told because of my retired military status and that the large order was for a local non-profit, I would be eligible for 20% discount. When I ordered the food on Friday, I mentioned the discount I was told about this week - the lady I spoke to told me I was not supposed to be told I could get a discount. I picked up my large order on Saturday afternoon, the cashier was given direct instructions that I would not get any discount - none, 0%, Nada. I was shocked. I paid for the food but NOT to be given ANY consideration - what a disappointment! What the store doesn’t know is when I arrived at my non-profit location - I spread the word loud, BoDiddley’s does not honor its word. The decision makers at this event will likely remember that for a long time!Sad - Sad - whoever owns BoDiddley’s obviously was asleep during their business class. I know that a discount is not required but a simple token of appreciation for a large order can go a long way! Will the owner respond to “review”? I doubt it … but that’s ok because the event I am covering next month will NOT include BoDiddley's.

Highly disappointed. The employee working the counter scoffed when we requested no onions or peppers on our sandwich, which still came on there. When we added more to the order the same employee rolled their eyes at us. Ordered chips and cheese thinking it would come with a cheese sauce. It was a paper plate of tostito chips with cheese sprinkled on top, microwaved and burned on them. Friend ordered a pickle and it was mushy. You want mediocre food that is just there to eat you are at the right place. Good college town food I guess....ha

The seafood pita is my go to favorite thing on the menu because it is so great every single time!
Bodidley's has always had the best subs I have ever had! Food and service has always been great and still is. The remodel is nice, especially the bathroom update! I have to give them 5 stars on everything. I only have to mention I have been going here for years, and because of my nostalgic side, I miss the folk music, and part of me misses the old layout before the remodel.
If you don't know about this place, you should. The subs are big, delicious and inexpensive.$18 for 3 adults and a 4yr old!

Paid for our food, waited forever! I didn't look like anyone was even making our sandwiches. Young man didn't know ehat he was doing, kept touching his hair with his gloves. Manager lady was asked for help and she just left. Older worker was just counting the tips while people are waiting for food!. The remodel looks like a dentist office. An iconic restaurant was destroyed. Used to be a favorite place. This is said.

Good sandwiches with different kinds. Pita, Schwarma, gyros, etc.
