I visited The Local Blend for a quick lunch during an event at SBC+SJU and ordered my fav item on the menu, the Avocado and Cheese Biscuit with fresh fruit. I also ordered the Fall in a Cup Latte and it was absolutely fabulous. I have been coming to the Local Blend since it was The Meeting Grounds and have always loved the food, service and atmosphere.

Poor. Ordering was quick, but you're in no-man's-land after that. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks. Once it was our turn, only half our drinks made it to the counter. But is IMPOSSIBLE to correct anything because there is zero customer service after ordering. We left without it, did not get refunded and were late to our engagement.

Decided to get away from the office for a bit during lunch to see how this place was doing since I knew it when it was "The Meeting Grounds". I remember the food was beginning to deviate from processed to more wholesome, natural ingredients which was good but now it's gone over the edge. When I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich I thought for certain fish was an ingredient; as it turned out after examination, it only consisted of smoked salmon bits (~10% meat).. Hopefully they return to their senses, simple foods made well and represented honestly.

See if you spot the salmon in the picture of the sandwich...

We got the snickerdoodle latte and the blackberry frozen lemonade bother were delicious and not governor sweet. For a lil snack we got the garlic and the blackberry cream cheese scone which were both so fresh and tasty.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the St. Cloud area! As I write this it’s their 16 year anniversary month. They have a birthday cake cold foam that is the best thing I’ve ever added to my lattes… definitely recommend requesting it. I’m not sure if they’ll do it after this month but it’s so good it’s worth the ask!

Always good service, unique monthly drink menus, and never fail to indulge my request to make items as a hot cocoa variant. Great place to have in Saint Joseph.

Such a great atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind. Their coffee and food are some of the best around.Whether you want a quick homemade muffin or a sandwich, all are homemade and delicious.

Vegetarian options: They offer a lot of vegetarian options, from sandwiches, soups, and breakfast items.

Dietary restrictions: All of their items let you know what is in them. If you have any nut, wheat, milk, or other restrictions, everything is labeled for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love coming in and checking out all of the baked goods. They offer kid friendly foods and drinks.

Love the coffee, but the display case foods are pretty dry, even in the morning.

The Local Blend has a great selection of drinks and is a fun place to stop in St. Joe. Their coffee is good, and they offer fun seasonal drinks as well as kombucha. I have gotten some decent lunch items here, but many of the baked goods, like the muffins and scones are dry and a bit lacking in flavor for my taste.
