We were looking forward to a pub lunch in a rich old world atmosphere. Few people were there. We were seated quickly, but left after reading the menu. It was extremely limited, unimaginative and disappointing. No Stout Pot Pie or Stew. No Scotch Eggs. No burgers of note. A dreary offering. The beers on tap were predictable. They need a menu overhaul.

The fish and chips were delicious, although I did sub a salad for the chips. Trying to be a little more healthy. Nice that I didn't have to pay extra for the substitution. Be aware that they charge an extra 5% service fee on top of the bill.Parking: Public parking ramp just a couple doors down.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Local West End, where bartender Matt provided exceptional service and made our night truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, Matt made us feel welcome and at ease. He was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which made for a great atmosphere in the bar.One of the standout moments of the night was when Matt recommended some dishes for us to try. He clearly knew the menu inside and out, and his suggestions were spot-on for our group and celebration. We were all blown away by how delicious everything was, and it was clear that Matt had a real passion for food and drink.Speaking of drinks, I have to say that I've never had someone know how to properly pour a Guinness until I met Matt. He took his time and really knew how to do it right, which made for a perfect pint every time. It's these little details that really set a great bartender apart from the rest, and Matt absolutely nailed it.Throughout the night, Matt was always attentive to our needs and made sure that we were well taken care of. He was quick with our orders and the service was fantastic overall. It was clear that he was a true professional of his trade, and we all felt lucky to have him as our bartender for the night. In summary, I can't recommend Local West End and bartender Matt enough. If you're looking for an excellent dining experience with exceptional service, this is the place to go. Matt's knowledge, expertise, and friendliness truly made our night unforgettable, and we will definitely be back to visit again. Thanks for a wonderful night, Matt!

We didn't eat here but wandered in on St. Patrick's Day for a couple of drinks. Love the decor and overall vibe! Really great customer service at the bar! We'll definitely be back!

Irish pub with the gloss and flare that you expect from West End. Food menu could be expanded, but satisfactory if you're drinking beers and whiskey.Service is absolutely off the charts. Everybody working here is top notch and an honest pleasure to be around. If Yard House wasn't next door with their giant food menu I would be here way more often.Still a remarkable establishment that earns the right to be in West End.

We had an amazing time, stopped in for brunch on a whim after shopping at Lost In The Forrest. Food was amazing, my partner did the big bacon and those slices were thick and crispy but the insides were beyond tender. I did the quinoa salad and the dressing was tart but bright. I loved the the little boxes for the booths. Definitely looking forward to our next trip down from Fargo.

This was the best Rueben Sandwich I have ever had and it was my first time eating here. The corned beef was extremely tender, bread was soft, and it was piled high along with tasty sour kraut. My daughter had the Chicken Pub Pie and loved it. My son had The Local Burger, and unfortunately, he didn’t like it as it was dry and smaller than most places. Our server, Tara M was very friendly and efficient. We had to wait at first to be served, but thats a sign of current times around the country with lack of willing younger job seekers as so many Baby Boomers are retiring.

First time visit and it didn't disappoint. Great looking inside and tasty food. Got the pot roast and an Irish pear cider, great pairing. Service was quick and friendly and the food came out hot. Get a booth if you want to have a conversation, otherwise it's very loud inside. Great location and easy walking distance to our hotel. Definitely worth a visit. Next time I'm in town I'll be back.

Cool space, very similar to their Minneapolis location but with a bit more room.Service and food were both good but nothing espectacular. We got apps and drinks - bacon tots, chicken Shots, pub Pretzels, and cheese curds.Chicken shots were great, Pub Pretzels were nothing special but good, cheese curds and the tots were so so (not bad but needed something to kick it up a notch).Would recommend for a casual happy hour or dinner, nothing was bad just nothing was amazing either.

Great food and company! Flavors were unique and portions were good. They were out of the soup of the day, and I subbed with their tomato soup. It was ok, but extremely thick, more like a paste. Tasted ok with the pot roast sandwich. The pot roast sandwich tasted rather sweet, coleslaw on it seemed to be the cause of that, was interesting taste, but will probably not repeat that one if we visit again.

I'd always driven by Coopers (we're at the Costco like at least once a week) but for some reason I had it in my head that it was not a nice place. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was very wrong. The bar in this place is just beautiful - a big horshoe type bar that reminded me of an old tyme saloon that you'd see in the movies. The service was great, very friendly (our waitress was named Grace, that's how good it was, I remember her name). We were there for Happy Hour, so we did drinks and a bunch of apps. The drink list is totally decent and covers the bases pretty well. The beer was fresh and cold. We ordered the chicken shots, which my friends insisted were so good we should get two orders. They were right. The thing in my head (which looked like shot glasses made out of chicken nuggets) was not even close. These are bits of fried chicken covered in a really deep, decadent and flavorful sauce. I was glad we ordered two. Can't miss. We also got the pretzels, which were fine and the dumplings, which were kind of weird and honestly I don't think I'd order again. So great place for a HH and I'm eager to return for a real meal to test it out in that way. But definitely was not what I'd always thought it was, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Try staying open past 11pm and maybe this bar wouldn't be dead all the time. I give it 6 months before it... It's gone. Nothing special

The menu is old and it would be nice to see some new items. Love the high ceilings and wood bar. Great place for a man to go for a beer beer b food. They also have table to cater to the dating crowd.

The Punjab Glory is so delicious and unexpected from a Brit inspired pub. I highly recommend it!
