First time at the Local. What a fun bar. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I am a huge bourbon fan and they have Buffalo Trace but when I am at an Irish Bar/Pub, I have to order an Irish beer or Irish Whisky. Went with Guinness. A great pour. We just stopped on Saint Patrick's Day Sunday night. We just missed the bagpipes and the irish dancers. I kid you not. They actually had bagpipes and irish dancers on a sunday night at the local. Great ambiance?? This is a great place to go and the decor and inside is just beautifully decorated and warm and friendly. So, in the initial first view, it looked a little interesting. Once going inside, though, I was enjoying the designs on the windows, ceiling above the bar, and the overall feel of it. It was very slow, so there was a minute of wait out of them checking on the few that were there.
