Bartender personality is either a love/hate. Dry sarcastic humor borderline rude doesn’t work for me but others in our party sound him comical this past weekend.Fondue is a big miss, accoutrements were a bit odd. Croutons and a few vegetables. The fondue was delicious though, as it is a Gouda based sauce.Garlic fries were also a miss - a bit soggy and not a ton of toppings/seasoning.Bar is dark and cozy, several bar stools were wobbly and in need of tightening on the legs. A few tables available for dining as well.

We live nearby and ended up at Dover largely by accident. There were only a few people at the bar and at first, we weren't sure we would like it but ended up talking to the bartender (Corey I think) and he made it a great time. He had some great stories and recommended some great food. The menu is fairly small but we really enjoyed what we had. The cheesecake was awesome (ask for the story behind it). We will definitely visit again.

Stayed at the hotel recently and enjoyed my dinner here. The MN salad was well dressed and interesting with dried blueberries. Rueben was good. Bartender was friendly and took the time to tell me about the local beers on tap, and enjoyed my hazy IPA as a result.

The restaurant has a great selection of burgers that are perfect for a casual meal.

We had Salmon meal and I would rate it excellent. Service excellent also.

Food was passable at best but the wait staff was atrocious. I was one of 2 people in the bar/ restaurant and he ignored me and the other lady for close to 20 minutes before even asking if we wanted a beverage.

Big thanks to the bar tender working last night (receipt says Corey, so I’ll assume that’s his name)! He was friendly and put up with us having a good time! Thank you!!Pricewise, we ordered 23 drinks, and our tab was $171 before tip (not bad)! Beers are about $6-7 and cocktails are about $10.

Laid back breakfast with a great ala carte menu on weekdays! The food was cooked to order and our drinks refilled in a timely manner. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, breakfast is only available as buffet for $18/ person and includes beverages. The buffet selections consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes or French toast, fresh fruit, muffins, and other pastries. The bread selection to make your own toast was fabulous! The multi-grain bread does not taste like something from a store. We did not get a chance to enjoy dinner at Dover, but the menu looked tasty. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of interesting options.
