Pei Wei

They have changed their menu and have better prices now. Food was good. I guess they rotate one meal a week that is $5.

This location has been a convenient quick stop in the neighborhood, and today we lucked out on quick convenience, but that's about it. Food was served surprising fast and now we know why: it had been left overs that were sitting out for a while. Microwaved, rubbery Pad Thai anyone? Lukewarm Wonton Soup? Mmmm.... We knew it had been sitting out because we were able to taste it since we scored the last set of chop sticks and last fork to eat our meal with. Washed a couple bites down with plain water, no ice (that was out, too) and we left Pei Wei St Louis Park for the final time. With quality like this and in a competitive market of restaurants, this chain will soon be broken.

Pei Wei has been one of my favorites for a quick bite since it's inception. It's biggest problem is quality control. This Saint Louis Park location has always been a problem child and you really don't know what to expect. Had orange chicken and I believe they forgot the Orange, and the pad thai was the consistency of soup. I finished lunch and all my flavor was still in the bowl.

Food was decent, about what you'd expect. The wait time for takeout was ridiculously long, though. They seem way understaffed.

Pretty good quality for fast food. The cashier was very helpful picking gluten free option. He even brought over extra gluten free soy sauce knowing it's hard to find. The environment is clean. They have the soda machines that offer various soda, flavored waters, and juices. Overall great experience.
