We’ve been here during the day ( lunch) and in the evening ( dinner). It’s a completely different vibe in the evening.
Lots of characters come out in the evenings around this place…. To be clear you are in the hood. While in the restaurant they had a party in the upper room and all you can hear was boom, boom, boom. You could barely carry on a conversation and the back parking area was full of ppl walking in between the parked cars. We thought our car was going to be gone or broken into when we came back from dinner….

I had the chance to come in and enjoy dinner with my cousin who I hadn’t seen in a long time. He got stuck in traffic so he wasn’t able to make dinner but shared my dessert. Legit omg!!! The steak was incredible. I also started with a delicious house Caesar. Which is honestly hard to find these days. I snagged some bread with the steak and actually moaned my way thru the entire meal. Luckily I caught a goofy slow night and there wasn’t many people at the bar. So I had the incredible pleasure of meeting the amazing bartender Michael! What lovely conversation! Plus watching him work flawlessly behind the bar while maintaining conversation and cleaning was beautiful to watch as someone who works within the industry myself. Do not walk to this place to him and the food. Run. 👏

Ps. My cousin got there and devoured what little remnants I had of my meal!! He completely agreed. We both come from families who smoke and marinate meat all the time. The steak was ridiculous.

One of the best places for brunch in Minnesota. The food is always a hit and the service is always fantastic. Love the burrito and the egg sandwich, a Sunday staple in my household. Great seasonal coffees/drinks too!

The service was spectacular! Friendly, helpful, attentive. The hostess and our server both wished me a happy birthday without me even saying anything. (The tiara might have clued them in.) Big shout-out to Priscilla M for making the evening even more enjoyable!

I ordered the Pan Seared Salmon from the fall menu, and it was *delicious*! Perfect temperature, full of flavor. For my birthday dessert, I had the Mousse Au Chocolate. I have celiac and both items were (or could be made) gluten-free.

We were there on a Friday night, with a party going on upstairs in their private banquet room. It was crowded and pretty loud. The floors are old firehouse floors and the ceilings are tall, so sound bounces around easily. Take note of that if you're sensitive to noise.

Also, reservations are *highly* recommended, especially on busier nights. There were few, if any, open tables.

Speaking of tables, these are *all* tables. No booths. I found the chairs comfortable for the time we spent there at a leisurely dinner.

The entire restaurant is accessible, and there's an easily accessible/family bathroom. Other bathrooms are single gender (and only one person at a time).

Prices were reasonable, especially for the amount of food and the quality. Just an amazing meal and we will definitely be back!

It's a converted fire station in the middle of a residential neighborhood. So, that is interesting. I ordered the basic breakfast (eggs, turkey sausage, and hashbrowns). The sausage was burned, the hashbrowns were too crisp, and the scrambled eggs were fine.

Nice experience. Beautiful historic fire house turned into a coffee shops/eatery. Looks like they may have an original fireman’s pole. Live the brick. Great service. Beautiful day but we chose to sit inside.i would this is located in the eastern side of Highland in St. Paul.

Good food. Lousy service. Took 45 min to get food after ordering. Never asked how it was. Didn't pay attention to removing plates. I like the fancy dishes they have. Really nice choices. I got the French Waffle which was pretty good. The bartender was much more attentive while we waited for our table. He did a great job.

My husband and I came here for date night and truly enjoyed ourselves. The food was great (and very well-seasoned!) and so were the drinks. The atmosphere was nice and simple. My only critique is that the water glasses have that wet-dog smell (IYKYK). We will definitely be coming back in the future.
