I love their house salad - never take it off the menu, its SO GOOD. Great spot, great vibe, glad its here :)
I invited my sister to join me at A-Side Public House we were greeted & seated immediately. We were given a pint of water & glasses & that was the last time anyone came to our table. After waiting about 30 minutes we decided to leave. One of the staff who was walking around stood near our table but never offered to get someone. There was also a couple who arrived after us who were able to place their order. When we reached the 30 minute mark, we got up and left.
I hope this wasn’t a race situation, because it definitely felt like one.
Horrible wait staff. Messed up our reservations and the wait staff didn’t attend to us for 30 minutes after being sat.
A-Side is just doing so many things right. The menu has lots of shareable dishes - it's easy to put together a meal with a delightful variety of flavors, and everything I've had has been perfectly prepared. The cocktails are interesting and change often, and the beer list is modest but well-curated. The staff has been top notch.
The drinks, the food, and the atmosphere were INCREDIBLE!! The service, however, was very unfortunate. Our waitress could not seem less interested in taking care of us and making sure we were enjoying all the restaurant had to offer. She never once cleared a dish off of our table until I asked her to take away 3 empty glasses. She never offered a second round of drinks to our table. She hardly checked in on us to see how our drinks were or how our meals were. It was a really unfortunate let down to an otherwise enjoyable and delicious evening.
Great restaurant tucked away in a quiet St. Paul neighborhood. We went for brunch on Sunday and they were packed so I recommend making reservations. They have seating both indoors and outside on the patio when the weather is nice. We ordered the Station 10 cheeseburger with fries and the Sausage and Egg biscuit sandwich, everything was excellent. Highly recommend for a casual meal with a nice atmosphere and good service. There's plenty of parking on the street or in the small lot.
This place offers delicious and healthy options.
First time here , the Sunday brunch was delicious, great choices, great flavors, the service was the best, and the location is really inviting with easy parking, I will return
I would give it 3 1/2 stars because the food is great but it is way too noisy and way too crowded with tables. They need to take a row of tables out of there. There’s room to put a 6 person table on the patio. It might help with the noise-level if they add a half-brick wall in the middle of the restaurant between the two poles & give customers a tiny bit of privacy. When I stood up to leave, my purse hit the woman behind me & it couldn’t be helped. 🙄 Also, why are the price of cocktails the same price as the entrees? The cocktails should be a few dollars cheaper. My cocktail wasn’t worth the $18. Fun vibe though being a former fire station.
Went last night for girls night. The service was good, but the food- not so much. Fries came out cold and soggy- mashed potatoes and gravy did not taste like mashed potatoes and gravy. Steak sandwhich was ok- but some parts of the meat were tough and hard to chew. Nice atmosphere, but don’t feel a need to go back.

What a cute old firehouse. I wish they had the history written somewhere. Unique menu with some classics like burgers. Highly recommend the pot pie. It was 70 bucks for 2 of us with an appetizer, drinks and meal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meets expectations
A-Side Public House offers a unique dining experience in a converted fire station, adding character and a memorable touch to the atmosphere. The service is satisfactory, with staff generally attentive, though they could be more engaging. Presentation is basic, with dishes served simply but neatly. The food is decent, meeting expectations in taste and quality without standing out. Prices feel fair for the setting, comparable to similar venues, though certain items might deliver better value. Accessibility is a strong point, with a nearby parking lot providing added convenience in an area known for limited street parking.
