The service, drinks, and food were horrible. Everything was overcooked and burnt. Service was slow. Drinks were bad, even though we were told the old fashions were extremely popular. Food is way overpriced. DO NOT eat here.

I decided to have my husbands birthday celebration at Bennetts in St. Paul. The owners Megan and Joe are the best, making you feel like you have known them for years! Outstanding service and great food. Even the customers were fun! We will be regulars for now on!

Our server was awesome, got our orders perfect. I had the seafood risotto, the crab cake in the middle was the best I've had. The only thing that was a little off putting was the air conditioning wasn't that great. It was pretty humid outside though. So I'm going to attribute it was because of that. Otherwise we'll be back!

We loved our food and the server was kind and attentive. The only thing I'd say is that in the reservation I indicated it was our anniversary, yet there was no mention or acknowledgment of that when we dined there.

We have been to Bennett's several times. My husband likes the ribs. The last few times we have been there it has been worse each time. This was our last time we will not be going there again. High prices, very poor food quality, server was nice but did not have professional etiquette as a server.
1st time. Excellent: Artichoke dip (best ever!), House chopped salad, Creole Meatloaf. Not so great, especially for $48 -- Tri Medallion Steak entree with 3 toppings: steak cooked perfectly, tender but scrapped off, and did not eat toppings. Usually my fav at a steakhouse but even the mushroom crusted wasn't good. Green beans were flavorless. Au gratin potatoes had a sour taste. The baked potato and fries I saw at other tables would have been a better choice. We will return, there were several items we noticed heading to other tables that looked great so we'll explore the menu.
