1st time. Excellent: Artichoke dip (best ever!), House chopped salad, Creole Meatloaf. Not so great, especially for $48 -- Tri Medallion Steak entree with 3 toppings: steak cooked perfectly, tender but scrapped off, and did not eat toppings. Usually my fav at a steakhouse but even the mushroom crusted wasn't good. Green beans were flavorless. Au gratin potatoes had a sour taste. The baked potato and fries I saw at other tables would have been a better choice. We will return, there were several items we noticed heading to other tables that looked great so we'll explore the menu.

I have eaten at Bennett's several times but this time was very problematic. Service was very poor. I was there for over two hours waiting for food while other diners came and went. It was very frustrating.

Ok experience, it was Mother's Day and short staffed. I am sure the experience would be much better if we decide to visit again in the future.

Terrible service waited at least 15 minutes for water Salad was brought with ketchup not French dressing Ribs were so overcooked they could not be eaten The 6 oz sirloin looked like 3 oz Had to request drink refills The walleye and Ruben egg rolls were very good But not good enough to ever go back Disappointing

Disappointed. The best part of dinner was our waitress who was very sweet. This place is Super noisy. My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The place was so noisy that we couldn't even talk to one another.

Fun family friendly restaurant. Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. If you’re in Saint Paul, don’t hesitate to stop in!

Great food! The tenderloin bites, Reuben egg rolls, and chopped salad are iconic. Good service. Small dining area but nice ambiance.

We love hitting Friday fish fry's during Lent. Bennett's advertised a fish fry - and yes they had fried fish - what we were served was a triangle shaped fish stick. 3/8 of an inch thick.

Our server was outstanding! The food was amazing. Best pot pie EVER. The walleye was awesome. Clean, quaint atmosphere. Going back very soon. Highly recommend!

We had a group of 11 and our server was great and accommodating. Loved that we could get reservations on a Wild game day! Great place.

Our go-to whenever we have the opportunity to visit St Paul. Everyone is so welcoming and the service is top notch. Love the neighborhood feel! Once we had to wait for a table and the owner bought us a drink. I can't say enough good things about this place. Oh and the food is unbelievable. They have the best spinach artichoke dip, burgers and steaks just to mention a few times we have had the chance to try. The homemade carrot cake is unmatched also. Just love everything about this place!!!!!

Bennett's is a hidden gem. My friend and I usually go there on Mondays when they offer discounted martinis and appetizers. Food is good. Their chop salad is excellent. And we usually have an amazing waitress who remembers our names and what we like to drink! Her name is Jessica and she couldn't be nicer or more efficient. Great restaurant!!

Feels very low-key and casual, and I really appreciate that. A true local haunt with good food. LOVE the variety of interesting cocktails and the variety of food choices. Love that a chop house offers more than just beef dishes. The chicken dish i had was really full of flavor. Very glad we went here to celebrate my spouse's birthday
