Loved the lunch buffet, they had a small variety of foods but definitely worth it for the price. I tried the green enchiladas, pozole, beef rolled flautas and caesar salad 🥗 very delicious!!!

First, let me say that I lived in South Texas for 25 years. Not a lot of this food is authentic Mexican. The salsa was too tomatoey (I know that's not a word, but you get it). I ordered the fajitas hoping to finally getting real fajitas since I moved back to Minnesota, but nope. They were beef, but not the right cut of meat that authentic fajitas are made from (skirt steak) and there was no seasoning at all. They were very bland. The refried beans were OK and the rice was good. I can't comment on the enchiladas because I didn't order any, but the tacos are fried which is an American thing. I would have ordered tacos if they were authentic. So in conclusion, the food might be good if you've never had real authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere was good and the service was average. We were a party of 9 and had to get the waitresses attention to order. I'm still looking for authentic fajitas.

First time visiting here and the food was authentic, definitely fresh ingredients and made in restaurant. Even when it was busy the server was very intentive.

The first time I went to eat was in 2023, the food was very good, now in 2024 I returned to eat and the food was terrible. My wife and I ordered a carne asa de nopales, the beans and rice were super salty, the rice the same, The meat was salty and had a strange flavor as if it had been meat for a long time, my wife ordered some shrimp a la diabla and it was the same.

Food is always Excellent, Top Notch service too! ❤️

Great wait staff ... delicious, fresh food ... had 3 cheese and onion enchiladas! Double rice! Yum! Drinks were delicious!

I have been going to Boca Chica my entire time in MN. The flavor is just how my mom used to cook in Mexico. My boys love eating the "Sopita" Fideo and I am a HUGE fan of the Pork Guisado. I cannot praise this restaurant and the Frias family enough for preserving the traditions of our culture.
Recently used their catering service and all my co-workers were equally impressed by the food and the professionalism of the driver and catering staff.

Parking: Large parking lot- and plenty of street parking on busy nights

Kid-friendliness: My kids love eating here- child portions are economical and yet have the same authentic food as the rest of the menu.

We had a lovely time at Boca Chica on their patio. The food was delicious and our server, Sandra was perfection. Everything was superb! I love this wonderful, family owned restaurant!

I had tacos, wish they had some sauces at the tables. Everyone was busy and couldn't ask them. Good fried tacos though!

My Floutas were fried too long. New waitress so she Forgot to ask what beans we wanted and forgot our Soapa. . But super sweet and boxed it up to go.

Our server was good but they were clearly understaffed. Drinks were extremely slow coming to the table. It was very busy for midweek. We will be back since food and service is usually very good here
