Homeless guy was bothering my table at this restaurant. Would avoid here since there’s people begging you at this place. Food was good tho but wish they would get rid of the homelessness so customers won’t be bothered

If I find myself in that part of St. Paul around lunchtime, I always stop at the Taco House. A good break from the Taco Bell and Taco John's rut. You'll find something good in their selection of combos. It takes them a little while to make your order, but the waiting area is large, with chairs. And you can get started on your drink while you wait.
I went with the enchilada/taco with rice. Nice big plate of food, all freshly prepared.

I had arrived a little early and so I sat down at the bar to grab a tequila. Inadvertently sat down next to one of the co-owners and we talked about how his family had first built the restaurant in 1964! It was great hearing a few stories and learning about the history of the place and how it’s changed over time.

Funny enough, I had thought I was ordering from their sister restaurant across the street. Wonderful mistake. The place knows exactly what it needs...
