Have turned away dozens of brides from this shop. Imagine my utter disappointment when they dropped off a plain 3 tier cake that they forgot to decorate. I had given them decorations for the cake and they were dropped off on the table in a baggie. No piping on the cake, nothing. Just a plain cake. They never did answer me back. So every year, I make sure to leave a 1 star review. I will continue to warn friends away who have recently got engaged.

We ordered cupcakes from Buttercream for our wedding reception. They delivered them to the venue at the exact time we requested, and they were absolutely delicious! Many of our guests mentioned that they were the best cupcakes they have ever had!

Our wedding cake from Buttercream was perfect! I’m not a big fan of the typical heavy buttercream frosting, but despite their name, the frosting Buttercream Bakery uses is actually very light - almost like whipped cream! So many people at our wedding commented about how good the cake was. We had zero issues with delivery and everything went very smoothly.

Their cakes are without a doubt, delicious. Their buttercream is unlike any other (and I am not a fan of any sort of buttercream). I have worked with them 3x and Everytime I've worked with them, the staff just seem like they are annoyed or hate their jobs which makes it hard to want to go back to order from them. My cake was ordered from them for my wedding last year on June 1st. When I originally booked them, I was told I would get a free complimentary cake for my one year anniversary for ordering with them, however upon calling to follow up on it, turns out they no longer do it for free and charging $30 for a 4inch cake. It is really unfortunate because it was another reason why I originally booked my wedding cake through them. The cake seems to always come through but the service is questionable.

They created our wedding cake just what I envisioned not to mention taste was amazing . Our guests raved on how yummy the cake was and the gold matched perfectly with my stand I had bought as well ! They do a great job !

My husband and I had a great start to our work with Buttercream St.Paul. I enjoyed our personalized cake sampling and detailed discussions on our vision for our wedding day. We had ordered a 2 tier cake with clear pictures of the design and overall appearance. On our wedding day, we had buttercream come to our venue to deliver the cake however, the two tier cake was not built. The cakes came individually and upon delivering, buttercream had requested my day of coordinator help and/or put the cake together. For one reason I do not understand, buttercream then left the venue without building our two tier cake. When emailing the company asking for a refund (as two tier cakes are not cheap), Marisa F basically said my day of coordinator was not able to check in with them, asked them to leave it on the dessert table and that was it. As a day of coordinator, cake set up (assembling the two tier cake) is not apart of her duties. When it comes to dessert delivery, I would not leave the wedding site without the cake assembled, I would also not leave the wedding site without confirming that how the cakes were left was okay. Unfortunately, I would not recommend buttercream again. I spent a lot of money for these cakes that were my husband and I’s dream for our wedding which we will never be able to have another chance for.

We ordered a small, one-tier cake for ourselves and cupcakes for our guests from Buttercream Wedding Cakes, and everything turned out beautiful and delicious! My husband and I absolutely loved our cake, and we’re already looking forward to re-ordering it for our first anniversary. Our guests raved about the cupcakes, and several friends and family members even asked us the next day if we had any extras left over. Buttercream truly made our special day even sweeter, and we’ll definitely be ordering from them for future events!
