The food itself was decent, with the bruschetta and tiramisu standing out as the highlights of the menu. However, my one-star rating is directed entirely at the service we received.
Upon arrival, a young hostess with vibrant hair was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated her demeanor. Unfortunately, the server assigned to my colleagues and me was quite the opposite. He carried an unwelcoming attitude throughout our visit, neglecting basic hospitality such as providing water and bread. When we inquired about the bread, he dismissively stated that we had not requested it since we ordered bruschetta—though bread is typically served without needing to ask.
What made this more disappointing was noticing that he greeted and smiled at other tables but not ours. Given that my table was the only visibly diverse group in the restaurant, the contrast in treatment was hard to ignore. Even one of his coworkers appeared uncomfortable with his behavior.
Despite maintaining professionalism and leaving a generous tip, the experience was marred by his lack of respect and courtesy. For the sake of future guests—especially those visiting from abroad—I strongly encourage management to ensure staff are trained in providing consistent, unbiased service rooted in integrity. In today’s economy, word of mouth shapes reputations quickly, and unfortunately, my colleagues and I will be sharing this negative experience with others.

Great spot for a nice date night. We went for dinner and treated ourselves to a full multi-corse meal. Everything was excellent, from the flavors and quality of the food and wine to the friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. We will be back.

Quite possibly the best Italian food outside of Italy. Service is awesome. Wife and I lived a block from them for two years and did plenty of date nights their. The service and food are always superb.

This was a nice restaurant that now serves lunch on pair pays and Styrofoam soup bowels. Not what it used to be, sadly.

The food is well prepared and there is a nice ambiance. Not really quiet or loud. Food is really good, but portion size is a bit smaller. Prices are average to a little on the high side for gourmet dining.

Great food, way better than any chain. All homemade, the way Mama would.

great atmosphere! the service was subpar, barely checking on us and the waiter critiqued our wine choice? that was strange by itself. the food verged on being good but too many added ingredients to “upscale” the dishes made them fall flat. also be warned, some of the meats aren’t fully cooked through. we tried to alert the waiter but they didn’t come back to our table except to bring the check without a word to us. very strange. I hope it gets better because it could be a very cool spot

We were a group of six and having a round table was so nice for visiting with one another. The atmosphere was wonderful, but the food was just OK.

This place is awesome! The food, servers, atmosphere, everything. I honestly would give 100 stars if I could. Excluding the tip, the total for two people to get a main dish, and split an appetizer and dessert, the price was only 80 dollars, which, for the caliber of everything, is a great deal! If you're on the fence about date night, get some reservations here. You're welcome. ; )
