Carbones Pizza on East 7th Street in St. Paul is one of the best pizzerias in Minnesota. Carbones has been at that location since 1954. I ALWAYS get my pizza sandwiches there. The pizza sandwiches at Carbones on East 7th St. are not only the best in the state, they put the overpriced, ill-looking pizza sandwiches from Carbones in Cottage Grove to shame ($37.++, for 2, one supreme, one pepperoni & cheese, SUPER SMALL, with all crust, Carbones in Cottage Grove) OR ($27.++, for 2, one 4 toppings - sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, and one pepperoni & cheese, SUPER LARGE, with thin crust AND PACKED TO OVERFLOWING). I love it there. Been a bunch. Not enough recently. The vents are a little loud but that’s just me. Love the atmosphere love the people. Taken friends and been taken by friends here. I’m cheap on everything but what we eat so I get the bill they cover everything else. The food is always ready or prompt. I’m within walking distance. The cat Loki doesn’t go
