Great little family owned spot. My burrito was fantastic. The ingredients were super fresh. This was one of the better Tinga chicken burritos That I’ve ever had. All of the salsa’s were very fresh and flavorful as well. I will definitely be revisiting this establishment in the future.My only very minor criticism is the limited hours for The first half of the week.

We ended up working directly with Lorenzo, the owner, and he made sure that every detail on the order was taken care of. The food was hot and ready to go at pickup time on the day of the rehearsal, and (unsurprisingly) it was a huge hit with our family and friends!

This is the worest place to order food from. Especially DO NOT online order.I ordered lunch online and picked up. When I open the to go box, it was literally empty, never found the items I ordered and paid for...moreover, the taset was horrible, full of water, or wet, and hygine wise it was extremely below standard. I orderd 2 types of meat but hardly find one. Unless you want to be disappointed, never ever go to this place.I called and complained but, they never seem to accept

I ordered food from here assuming I was in for some real-deal Mexican fare. This is Saint Paul, after all. West side, even! This is NOT real-deal Mexican fare. Not even close. Even for Americanized Mexican food it still left much to be desired. The barbacoa torta I ordered was mediocre at best. Too much guac, not enough meat, and absolutely zero jalapenos. It came with rice. It too was nothing special. Nothing had much flavor Not the meat, nothing. It was all bland and boring. Although I'm sure things would've cooled off a bit in the 10 or so minutes it took me to arrive, I wasn't expecting it all to be completely cold as well. I ate maybe 2/3rds and abandoned the rest. A cold, bland, torta with no jalapenos for $9.25. My bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola ($2.35) was ice cold and delicious. El Burrito Mercado is very close, very legit, and very awesome! Catrinas was a bust. I was gunning for something I hadn't tried before and I paid the price. You, however, have read my review. I have made this sacrifice for you. The 4.5 stars this place is getting is just wrong. Seems every single person reviewing the place has no idea what real-deal Mexican is supposed to taste like. If you're one of those people, seek out the real-deal stuff! You won't be disappointed.

Ordered through Uber eats, did not receive extra queso dip I paid for, tacos were soggy and wet. Way too many veggies/pineapple, hardly any meat. Heads up- meat was cut in chunks instead of shredded. Same with the quesadilla, meat is in thick chunks…might just be me but that’s not how I prefer them to be prepared. Bummer.
