Came here first time couple weeks ago. Everything was very Good! Huge portions. Came the other day for a Cheese Empanada to go. Put some Hot Honey on it and that really took it over the top! Got the. CHAULAFAN Ecuadorian fried rice with pork, chicken, shrimp, egg, carrot, peas and green onions. Huge portions! Lots of meats, egg and shrimp! Enough for 2 or 3 servings! I would definitely get again. 😋😋😋

The food was amazing. Coming from a city where Ecuadorian food can be found on every corner, I was hesitant to try it in St. Paul. I have to say, this is one of the best Ecuadorian restaurants I’ve been to.
I really appreciated how they’ve updated the traditional Ecuadorian menu to make it more accessible for people who have never tried Ecuadorian food before without losing the essence of our country. I was truly satisfied with the presentation, quality, and seasoning of the food.
The sauces? Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the ajà criollo - it wasn’t spicy at all, but it was incredibly flavorful.

I am thrilled they have a location in St. Paul. The food is fantastic, a delight to the eyes and tastebuds. Potato cakes need to be on more menus - toasty on the outside, pillowy and buttery on the outside. Eager to go back and try the lunch or dinner menu.

Wonderful food and staff. Parking can be tricky on the weekends with the Trader Joe's next door.

Food was great and tasty. Would of gotten 5 star if the consistency of the rice and beans would be equal all days.

I recently visited an Ecuadorian restaurant and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with vibrant décor and music that made the space feel lively without being overwhelming.
The food was the highlight. The flavors were rich and authentic, with dishes that felt homemade and comforting. The ceviche was fresh and citrusy, and the empanadas were perfectly crispy on the outside with flavorful fillings inside. I also tried a traditional plate with rice, beans, plantains, and grilled meat, and everything was well-seasoned and cooked just right. The portions were generous, and you could tell care went into the preparation.
The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when explaining dishes I hadn’t tried before. Service was quick, and the restaurant felt clean and well cared for.

Yuca was ok, not the same type of yuca youll find ekse where. its nore inbthe weet side but still very good especially with the green sauce they have. I had the sanduche de pollo, it was marvelous lots of flavorful chicken and mozzarella cheese! it was fantastic. my partner ordered the Churrasco plate; it was everything, flavorful, filling rice was perfect, all the fixings to match. The beans weren't your typical refiried beans rather whole beans that when paired with the fried egg onion and rice made for the mosty hearty flavorful combination. its quite a bit of food so some was had for dinner the rest for breakfast the following day. This was my forst time have Ecuadorian food, i loved it. My partner also enjoyed hers and promptly fell asleep after eating. we will definitely come back to try more from the menu, but we might skip the yuca.
