Very cozy place. Little books and cranes to go in spread out across different rooms allows a big place that feels cozy. Garden is beautiful great atmosphere and not super loud. Amazing people here super relaxed and feels so comfy. Food is delicious and filling good menu options and flexible ordering.
Waitress was super accommodating and helpful. We were a table of 6 and they were able to accommodate. Lots of very friendly regulars.
Wheelchair accessibility: Limited space to path but they do have free standing tables and can move chairs.

Average diner food, with not so great service. We didn't see our waitress after she took the order, had to ask other staff for refills and the cheque.
Pancakes were undercooked, and were still undercooked after being sent back. Very disappointing. Steak and eggs was fine, cooked correctly.
The decor is odd and mismashed, with seemingly random art thrown up on the walls. The vintage cigarette machine was cool.
Excellent coffee and clean bathrooms, though!
Parking: Busy area, plenty of spots on side streets if you're willing to walk
Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow aisles make maneuvering a chair difficult

We recently visited this charming café for the first time, and it’s absolutely adorable. The outdoor seating area is particularly cute, but we opted to sit inside due to a number of bees buzzing around. I ordered the salmon scramble, which was fantastic—perfect for any salmon lover. I also had a latte, and my boyfriend and I shared a delicious cinnamon roll. He really enjoyed his eggs benedict.
The reason for my 3-star rating is because of an uncomfortable incident that occurred during our meal. Another couple decided they wanted to switch to the outdoor seating and got up to move. That's when our waitress raised her voice and told them they needed to sit back down and wait to be reseated if they wanted to dine outside. The whole interaction was awkward, and the atmosphere shifted—everyone seemed to stop talking. I don’t know the full context since I didn’t directly experience it, but the couple mentioned their table hadn’t been cleaned and they simply wanted to sit outdoors. The way the waitress handled it felt inappropriate, as she spoke to them as if they were children. It was uncomfortable for everyone around. While the food was amazing, the waitress could definitely use a more respectful approach when dealing with customers wanting to change seating.

I'm so glad I brought my daughter here.
The place feels like home and very welcoming.
Plus the patio just feels like you're in your backyard, except for the bees. There's a lot of them again and I was so disappointed because it was such a nice day to be outside but we went inside. The koi pond is a nice touch, right in the middle.
We were seated in the "library" and this has a whole wall of books. I also liked this room. We were seated by a large window so we can still see outside.
I ordered the country fried steak and it was ok. The gravy was too salty for me but the poached egg was perfectly done.
My daughter ordered the avocado burger and the early bird special. She combined some of the ingredients and she said they turned out pretty good.
Lastly, our server, Stephen, was really nice and very accommodating.
The food might not have been that good but if the service and the place is 5 star, it's worth it. And, the price is also very reasonable.
I will try other options in their menu the next time I'm here.

This is a good breakfast joint and really like the comfort feeling. We sat in an area that was like a library. It is apparent they are willing to go to any lengths to provide an exceptional experience. Nice to eat at a place where everyone is just doing the next right thing. God bless you all in your journey and thank you for this fine breakfast establishment.

I’ve lived a few blocks from this place for the last few years, but finally decided to stop in. It’s hard to find good biscuits and gravy Up North and the Day by Day nails it. I’ve now been 3 separate times this week. You’ve got yourself a regular.
