Wonderful experience. Food, especially the red sauce is , exceptional! The staff is friendly, helpful and ready to serve
Always a great experience coming to DeGidios. Delicious food very nice servers, and a cozy atmosphere
First time at DeGidio's. Our family went to celebrate an 18th birthday and were pleasantly surprised. We had no idea what type of place it was but it was great. Nice ambience, great food and service. Will definitely return.
We looked at reviews for restaurants in the area and DeGidio's stood out, so we had to try it! We were seated immediately and although they were out of the beer I wanted, our waitress had another excellent recommendation that I loved. Our appetizer of Calamari came out lightning fast and was hot and super delicious. Both meals we ordered for dinner came out so fast it was awe-inspiring! They were hot, fresh and delicious with very generous portions! If you're looking to get full, order the Chicken Parmesan and you won't leave hungry! I was so impressed with the efficiency and quality of this restaurant, I'd go back in an absolute heartbeat, CHECK THEM OUT!
We came with extended family for a birthday dinner and had a delicious meal with exceptional service. Everyone enjoyed it!
Burrata Caprese was excellent. Pasta's are home made - a treat. Pesto pasta was very creamy - not a lot of Pesto flavor if you are seeking it. Chicken Fettuce Alfredo had grilled chicken cooked just right. The Alfredo sauce was a bit too creamy for my palate. Home made bread is amazing.
The staff were incredibly nice and attentive
We had delicious food, both traditional and innovative! The atmosphere and service were just right.
The bar area has tables and booths and is first come, first serve. We were lucky, and there was a booth available. We were able to order from the whole menu.
Other than the hostess who greeted me, the staff was amazing. Our server, Rae, was attentive and helpful. The food was great.
Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve had events before but this was phenomenal. We were celebrating my mother’s 96 years of life and everyone left feeling this was truly amazing. The food was delicious, the room perfect, the bartenders and staff were great. I can’t say enough to compliment them. I will recommend DeGideos as a place for a perfect celebration of any kind. It is great!
Service was great, and the food was good. Was my first time there, but my family has been there a few times before, and they obviously like it.
The food was amazing, had to ask for more red sauce for my chicken parm but it was still amazing, and the garlic butter (don't get me started on how good it was). The drinks were great, not watered down like most places. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again. The most authentic Italian restaurant in Minnesota.
The food was delicious. From NYC, I have been living in the area for a few years, and FINALLY, REAL Italian food. Had the Chicken Parm, omg. If you like things extra saucy like our family, you may request an additional side of sauce. BEST. SAUCE. IVE EVER. HAD. I think for the price, it was hefty in portion and delicious. My daughter had the lasanga, and let me tell you, they dont shy away from the sauce and cheese!
Also, finally a restaurant that doesn't water down their cocktails either!
Will be back again FOR SURE. I think our servers name was James, and he was extra attentive and kind too!
It's kind of dark, but I didn't give a crap about that once I got my food LOL
We walked right in. It was pretty packed, so reserve if you're worried about waiting. 10/10.
We were seated immediately at the time of our reservation. It was early, 4:30 PM, so it was not very busy. Our server was a wonderful young man named Adrian and he came over to our table right away to take our drink order. He even suggested my husband order an Old-Fashioned. We were barely into our beverages and the Caesar salad, which was plentiful and really good, and our entrees were ready. I had Chicken Parmesan, which was hot, a little spicy, spaghetti was al dente loaded with marinara sauce and it was such a large serving I was able to take half home for another meal. It was also served with what I think was the best bread I have ever had at an Italian restaurant, and herbed butter to boot. My husband, not being much of an Italian food person, ordered the DeGidio's burger and he said it was probably the best burger he has had in a long time. It was served with hand-cut french fries that were to die for. Needless to say, he did not have anything to bring home. We took a look at the dessert menu but didn't see anything that was overly exciting, and since we were satisfied with what we had already eaten, we passed on dessert. Next time.
