I still love this place, great food pretty good prices, great staff. The seating is a little tight sometimes, but that would be hard to improve.

First time here. Made a reservation. Hosts there don't seem like they want to be there. The waitresses were friendly. You walk in and it doesn't seem like a restaurant, layout is weird. Looks like an ice cream shop. Then they take you to the dining and you see pink panther stuffed animal decor.The bread that comes with the dinner salad was pretty decent. Got the ravioli appetizer. A little bland on the inside but the sauce and outside were decent.Service was a little slow and the pop was flat. Great portion for the pasta. Had leftovers for the next day. Deep dish pizza was good and very filling.It was a good try at something new but I probably won't go back.

Updating my review. I have had chicken a la Donatelli and the chicken has been very dry now for the third time!!! I feel quality has gone down. It's just not the same excellent quality.

Last Saturday was our first time at Donatelli’s and we were really looking forward to a great Italian meal being transplants from Central NY. I could tell bye just walking in and the neighborhood clientele that people just love this place. Service was very friendly and filled us in on why all the Pink Panthers, which was great history. We ordered our meal right after receiving our drinks and right after I was finished an excellent and very large Caesar salad our meal came. My granddaughter and I ordered the Baked Lasagna and my son the bake Manicotti which he loved. All the meals were piping hot and ready to eat. The issues we had was with the lasagna, it look so good but once we both dug in we found out we had a bowl of thick mozzarella cheese and sauce. We both had a very hard time eating it and gagged on the amount of cheese to eat through. Once we found the actual Lasagna it was only 1/2-3/4 of an inch thick with no Ricotta cheese. Needless to say both my granddaughter and I were very disappointed. Something went very wrong and we hope you can correct the misfortune with your kitchen.We may try you one more time and go for one of your specials, my friends in my building love your restaurant.Ron Pattit
Kathy B was by far one of the best servers I have had in a long time. I enjoyed her kind smile and her attention to detail. I had taken my dad out for a dinner since its been a while. The Kitchen staff made the food so good that I not only ordered for then but I also bought another 2 meals for tomorrow. This place is more than a place that has good food and great service. It also has so many memories. I used to go their with my aunt whom I took care of for 13 years and knew most of the staff. Since She past I had not been in much because it was our spot. Lunch service is always packed. Dinner service tonight was busy but Kathy B. Made sure that my father was well taken care of and she even indulge me with a shirley temple a drink I used to get as a child with tons of cherries. The Store has the same classy look. I can recall when the restaurant's old menus were massive. Make sure you check all over to see the decor that has been growing for years and years. I do like the new they make the food pop more and they always great. If you can get the tiramisu you will love it. I have not moaned like that for a while almost like when Harry meet Sally.

Super amazing place to eat, but I'm absolutely heartbroken they no longer have my favorite meal, the seafood cannelloni. Wish I would have gotten it one more time, literally one of my favorite bites of all time.
