Although I am PuertoRican this food brings me back to my home. Its like visiting my aunt an getting served food.
So you want authentic Latin Caribbean food come here.
I really like it here. Great authentic food and perfect service.
The best cuban food in town. The restaurant is very well design and the Caribbean environment is present. The owner and employees are very professional and familiar.
My family love ❤️ it...
Loved it! Such nice staff and the food was amazing! I had el guajiro and the roast pork was so tender I didn’t need a knife to dig in. Good amount of food for the price too! Definitely going back and bringing friends.
If you like food with flavor, you need to try this place. If you like spicy, ask for their hot sauce. So much flavor.
In my pictures are The traditional stew (sancocho), bistec encebollado (traditional Cuban marinated steak), loaded tostones, loaded yuca.
My word!!! So good. And being born and raised in the Caribbean myself, I know flavor when I put it in my mouth, and this food has a ton of flavor.
If you eat here and you didn’t like the food or you didn’t think the food was flavorful you probably had Covid or something.
Oh, and the owners, are so wonderful, polite, very kind. They definitely make the experience that much better.
Great food. Flavorful. Family owned and operated. Everything made fresh. The back patio is a nice little tucked away oasis.
This is the best Cuban restaurant the I ever have at Minneapolis MN.

Layer after layer of carefully constructed flavor in a rudimentary but enjoyable setting. The chicken stew (can’t remember the name)was especially delicious and deep.

Delicious homemade food served with a smile! I will be returning and bringing friends! The outdoor patio is a great place to observe the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. Help support your local small business!
We went and gotta he Cubano sandwich and Ropa Vieja. The sandwich was nightly toasted and the you can fries were crispy. I have never had the Ropa Vieja before but definitely will come back for that dish. The meat is tender and the marinade is delicious. The sides that came with the plate were equally amazing. The plantains were nice and sweet, and the rice and beans were perfectly seasoned. Normally I don't like beans like this, because they seem to slimy, but these tasted amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to try Cuban food or a new local restaurant in the area.

Great food, prices are around $15-$20 per person depending on the dish/tip. It also clearly lists dietary restriction information on the menu for those curious. I believe they also have that information available on their website. I only wish they listed the prices beforehand. Also, I recommend calling ahead as food can take a while.
Worth checking out! I had the Ropa Vieja per someone else's recommendation, can confirm- it's worth recommending!
