So I never voluntarily seek out a restaurant on Google to review, usually it's because I was prompted by Google. Today was my 3rd time visiting El sonbrero and I was satisfied each time the food is great. I grew up I Denver Colorado and it brings me back to that time when we would eat at Las Delicious restaurant. Look in my mind no one will ever be at Las Delicious but El sonbrero brought me back...
Thank you

Friday 8/16 Dinner - There was a rush of 6 tables or so, order delay took over 10mins and 20mins in we never received a glass of water or our drinks. Poor service from the wait staff, very slow to respond to requests and there were several tables who waited idle for order taking.
You're better off ordering for pickup if you want their food.

Pina colada's are not supposed to be made with 7 up or whip cream on time. Gross. Didn't even offer chips and salsa. Previous times I've been there, the food was decent and I liked the chips and salsa but they need some help. Many empty tables piled with dirty dishes after 7pm.
They took care of me
And food was great

Good food, my smothered burrito was tasty, and my wife's fajitas came out sizzling hot. The restaurant was clean, and the ambiance could benefit from some consistent background music, i.e., kep cutting out. Some of the clientele were a little sketchy. One of the bar patrons kept burping loudly and had a loud case of hiccups, perhaps over served? I will go back if what I experienced was an isolated problem. I did like the food.

Online it said they have gluten free selection. However when we arrived they didn't have a clue what we were talking about. Definitely not trustworthy for anything gluten-free!

We went on a weekday for lunch. As soon as we came in, people started coming in as well. Even though they started to get busy, the food came out super hot and fairly quickly. The food was absolutely excellent. Full of flavor and portion size was enough to have for dinner later.

Absolutely awful. The quac is fake quac with huge cut up onions and tomato’s and and salsa is watered tomato juice.
My main dish was even worse and was way overcooked and just tasted gross

Quick service, amazing food and every time I've been there it is usually not too busy. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to

Yuck! We ordered the steak taco meal for my daughter, if the establishment sees fit to charge $18 for three tacos, the steak meat in said tacos shouldn’t look and taste like dog food. The meat, if you can call it that, was all cartilage and fat pieces.
The red salsa wasn’t good. They charged me $1 for each small ramikin of green salsa.
They were also out of Corona.
I’d never recommend this establishment to anyone.
