Excellent experience. The service was wonderful, the food great and the ambiance relaxing. Definitely going back. One suggestion would be to add the option of serving the wonderful kabab rolls with chicken instead of beef, for those who don't eat red meat.

Absolutely amazing food and excellent service! Ribeye steak was flavourful and cooked to perfection. Duck heart appetizer was very tasty. Smaller portions, would definitely recommend the Elephant Bar to anyone

Elephant Bar is an amazing restaurant, I'm glad I finally stopped in. I've only sampled the cafe menu but it was phenomenal. I'll be returning in the future. I recommend Elephant Bar to anyone trying to find a great new place in Lowertown.

Delicious food with lots of flavor. Came here for dinner with a coworker and the owner took time to welcome us and share his inspiration for the menu, a mix of his midwestern upbringing influenced by his Pakistani roots. The result is lots of spice (not spicy hot but spicy flavorful), fresh ingredients, and intriguing combinations. The portions were satisfying and rich, as well as beautifully plated. Visited as a tourist but could see being a regular here if I lived in the area, would be great for professional dinners or date nights.

The ambience at this place is good, service was great and the food was unique and interesting. We are here on a Saturday evening and parking was not easy, you either need to find street parking or do park ramping at like 5$. If you know the area well you might find something better than us. Coming to the food, I really liked all the items and had a good time at this place. The turmeric Margarita was surprisingly good. Would recommend this place.

The Turmeric Margarita was the best cocktail I've ever had! Everything about our experience was outstanding starting with the cocktails, then the small plates we shared and ending with an incredible chocolate ganache. Go to this restaurant! The service was casual, attentive, and informed. Go to this restaurant- You will love it!

The staff at Elephant Bar is so welcoming. If you value the presence of an attentive staff, it may be a good fit for you. The ambiance, from the natural elements used throughout the space to the soft lighting made me feel at ease right away. Locals are welcome here as a regular place to rest and enjoy a cocktail. The flavor combination of the chilled pea soup is fabulous. I trusted the wine pairing to Kari the server and was comfortably cared-for. Ladies, if you order the spring vegetables with the recommended pairing of wine, the flavors in your mouth may remind you of an evening with long lost Latin lover. It did for me. Enjoy.

I've had drinks and dinner here now. This is a true hidden gem of St. Paul. I love the flavor combinations. There is not much like it in the area. My favorite is the charred strawberry on their steak. When I ordered, o want sure if like it. It was AMAZING I'd come back just for that. Service is really good at the bar and tables. I hope they stick around for a long time. Hoping to get to the cafe for lunch soon.

Great intentions, execution seems lacking - hopefully that will improve. I had the fried chicken sandwich for lunch. The fried chicken itself was great, but badly overpowered by limp sweet pickles and super-wet shredded lettuce that was slathered in some kind of sweet-tasting mayo. The bun was smushed and soggy, and did not hold up well. I ended up taking the chicken out of the sandwich and eating that by itself - then found that it was beautifully done. The lemonade looked house-made (yay!), but tasted like the concentrate had been sitting in the fridge for months. The tots I got were overdone. (If I could, I would deduct a half-star for the host table using imagery of African elephants in a place that is clearly going for a British-Indian Raj elephant theme! :) ) Beautiful space, pleasant service, I do intend to give this place a couple more chances in the hope that their execution can catch up to their promise.

The food, cocktails, atmosphere and service are all terrific! I highly recommend The Elephant Bar if you're into elevated food with beautiful flavors in approachable dishes that range from comfort food to sublime and delicate small plates. The spatchcocked whole fried chicken is an adventure in amazing flavors. We wanted to try everything and plan to go back soon. Check it out!

Tried the restaurant for lunch initially and greatly enjoyed the kabab roll. I decided to come back a second time with my husband for dinner. We both enjoyed the dinner, the great flavor and quality of the various dishes. We enjoyed the welcoming environment as well. We will definitely be back!

This a new restaurant that I definitely will be visiting again! I recently stopped by for an initial lunch visit and grabbed a kabab roll. I enjoyed lunch so much. I decided to come back a second time with my husband for dinner. We tried various dishes with great favor and texture. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the quality of service.
