I recently visited here and was thoroughly impressed by their smoked chicken, which had a perfect smokiness without needing any sauce – a true winner in my book! The brisket and ribs were also top-notch, some of the best I've had. However, I was a bit disappointed with the macaroni and cheese; it lacked the richness I was hoping for and could use more butter and cheese.Overall, it's a place definitely worth a visit for their outstanding meats, but the sides could use a bit more attention and love

I was craving BBQ, and this place is close to my work, so I gave it a shot. I placed an order online, and it was a standard wait of 40 minutes, no big deal. It took an extra 20 minutes on top of that, but it was still no big deal, just plan accordingly if you order to go. The ribs were tender, the brisket was great, the potatoe salad was good, and so were the greens, the mac was mid, but that could be from travel time. I liked their BBQ sauce but would have loved some more heat in it. Parking is across the street just a heads up. I'd definitely go again and have no regrets!

TikTok made me do it, lol. My 1st time trying this BBQ place, and it won't be my last! We ordered takeout and couldn't get home fast enough. The smell… ? Everything was good! My son loves the mac and cheese and gave it a 9 out of 10. I think it needs more cheese. The collard greens were surprisingly good! My husband LOVED the brisket! 10 out of 10. My favorites were the ribs and sweet potatoes. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back to try more items from the menu.

I am absolutely shocked.I ordered over $70 worth of food from Firebox because of great previous experiences and the new photos and reviews I saw online… this is not what was promised.Rubbery over cooked wingsDry, over cooked brisketAnd the max n cheese I got was a watery buttered noodle..Hope this was just a mishap..

Went on a saturday evening and was pretty full and busy. Plenty of street parking. Found one table to sit in. Atmosphere was pretty chill as they had a full bar. Didn't know what to order so we ordered the Firebox Feast which included wings, brisket, pork ribs, and a few side dishes. Also ordered the Firebox Fries on the side. Ribs had enough bite, brisket has a great bark(great smoke ring) and very juicy. Wings were good with a hint of smoke. Firebox fries were phenomenal! Very cheesy and had chopped brisket in the mix. Overall great experience if you're looking for BBQ! oh and get the Mama's pepper!

If you're looking for soulful & authentic BBQ this is not the place. It's more like a hospital or cafeteria food.Based on others reviews, I excitedly visited this place. When I arrived there was no welcome or introduction despite being the only one in line. Just blank stares, annoyed with me taking the time to read the menu for the first time.I stuck to the basic. Brisket, fries and toast. The meat was soft but old. Like it was steamed and left in a warmer all day. It came out barely warm. The fries are frozen and stale. The Texas toast was the best part of the meal.Charged an additional $2.72 cents for a tiny (half full) dipping cup of their in house "mama's spicy sauce" it was spicy with very little flavor.Very overpriced for a place with below average food and lack of soul and pride in their cuisine. The location was large and spacious.
