Flava has so much space to sit (lots of comfortable seating *and* outlets, which is rare in a coffee shop). Their drinks are also some of the best in the area, straight up - most coffee shops have the same brand of weak chai, but the chai I had at Flava was stellar.

Their Bob Marley is also amazing, either hot or iced, and they have a good selection of smoothies, bowls, and sandwiches.

Always love supporting local, BIPOC businesses. If I lived in the area, this would be totally my go to coffee shop. Coffee was great. I just had a pastry but looks like there’s a food menu too. Lots of seating available when I went, although early on a weekday. Parking is in the back. Amazing music. Great book selection from Black Garnet Books. I didn’t have much time to browse the selection but it is something to do for next time.

I came here for the first time ever and glad I found it! I tried the U.N.I.T.Y chicken sandwich and oh my..it was delicious. It did take 15 to 20 minutes, but its a made to order, AND it was worth every minute. Only "complaint" is maybe less of the Sriracha mayo. But other then that I enjoyed and savored every bite. It also came with kettle chips and a pickle spear; I think the chips were Dutch Crunch, so the best brand of kettle chips, and had to be Claussen or another...
