We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. My sons and I stopped in here for lunch while we were waiting for their father to get out of surgery. Nice little bar and restaurant. We had the fish and chips, the BLT, and a cheese burger with some various appetizers. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server was prompt and kind. I had a mixed drink (we walked here from our hotel) and it was strong and delicious. Stop in here for a drink and a bite, you won't be disappointed.
Love the Gopher Bar, thr service and food is outstanding. I always love their selection of beer on tap. This is my nee favorite place in St Paul. Oh, and try the coneys (see pic). The hype is real!
