A staple on grand ice cream parlor. Wonderful in house made ice cream it is some of the best in the city. Great portions excellent flavors and such a home town feel atmosphere. The smell of their sweet Waffle cones fill the air the moment you hit the door. The strawberry cheese cake is my favorite ? ? so yummy creamy and delicious.

I think the ice cream here is very good - it's classic and made in house, rarely am I disappointed. When I came the other night it wasn't very busy, and I sat outside. I got the chocolate banana and black walnut flavors, which were perfect. The shop feels worn down inside and could use some TLC. I think the staffing lacks the passion typical of people who work at an ice cream shop so I didn't really feel the atmosphere you look for in an awesome ice cream shop. I still like coming here for the ice cream!

Amazing flavors, great service, and the prices are reasonable for how much they pile on. A single scoop is plenty for most reasonable appetites. A double is...akin to a pint? It's a lot, not that I'm complaining. I had the black hills gold which was delightful. I also tried several other flavors. All were spot on, you won't be disappointed.

Still the best ice cream in the Twin Cities. With a great street cafe feel (if you can grab a seat on a warm late summer evening)

Hours posted as opened until 10 online as well as on the sign that’s hanging on their front door that we saw earlier that day. Arrived at 930, doors were locked. Employee, was not unfriendly, told us that hours were changing due to school/employees/colder weather. I completely understand this reasoning but we planned our day around making sure we got here before 10 so we could stop by while in town. If we knew they were closing earlier, we would have made sure to stop by earlier. Sad because we are leaving town tomorrow ?
Wonderful little ice cream and coffee shop. It's really cute with a "vintage" feel. It reminded me of when I was growing up.
Nice selection of ice creams as well as sundaes and floats. We didn't get any coffee but there was also a nice menu for coffee drinks. Service was excellent.

The waffle cone was a bit overcooked. Ice cream was smooth and tasty! Staff could be more welcoming and put a smile on their face.
