Service was friendly. Short ribs stroganoff was tasty as was the broccolini. My medium sirloin had no pink in it, the mashed potatoes cold and the asparagus was meh. We were really looking forward to the brown butter bread pudding but it was outright soggy - part of it was scalding hot and part of it was cold. We ended up sending it back. The ambiance is strange. It's a beautiful space and prices suggest it's fancy, but there's pop music from the early 2000s playing...
Too expensive for what you get. Food was good but nothing fancy like the price reflected. Can get very loud as with our experience being seated in the same room as a large award recognition party. Service was good. Very cool old space with lots of history.
I really enjoy Herbie’s and have eaten here many times but I do suggest avoiding the vegetable soup. Far too much salt and the taste was a bit off. Not a fan of the vegetable soup. Great service and great atmosphere as usual!
