I've been going to this place a long time normally the wings are great but i ate there yesterday and got violently sick was throwing up rice and chicken all night also had diarrhea i didn't eat anything else all day

Wanted to try this place out bc someone hyped up the rib tips. I ordered their 1/2 rack beef rib dinner. It came with 2 sides. I got the Mac n cheese and seasoned rice. The ribs are overly sauced with the sauce of your choice. I went with spicy. The ribs had little meat although look as though it was meaty. The Mac n cheese was eh. The seasoned rice was just white rice seasoned with a powder bbq dust. The rib tips themselves were ok. They too were overly sauced but the pork flavored with more pronounced. Service was ok, dude seemed like it was a long day and didn't want to deal with customers. That I can understand.

This was okay..... do not recommend the quarter chicken half of it was dried out! My beef ribs were nothing but fat! The sides are so small like 4oz cups.... the hojos were the only good thing honestly and I wish all of em were crispy instead of only 1/4 of them

Chicken is good but only down is the portions of the sides they are not the best. You're probably better off making your side dishes yourself. Customer service needs a lil adjusting it would improve the value of the customer input. Make the customers feel like they are appreciated.
My first time here. Was recommended by a St.Paul native. I ordered the BBQ Rib Tips plate with Baked Beans and Mac n Cheese. The ribs were good. Sauce was nice and the meat was very tender. Baked beans were also very good. However, that Mac N Cheese, not good at all. Dry as if it eas made with cheese powder rather that real cheese. Please consider a new recipe and make it smack! Other than that, I was pretty satisfied for the price($22.00) I say it with love. Overall, I give it a 8 out of 10. I will be back to try more items!

I grew up eating Hickory Hut and I'm usually satisfied with the food, but today everything was old and dry. I normally don't have to tell them to make it fresh, but today I should have. I came all the way from Brooklyn Park, to get this food. I was so disappointed with the chicken and the rib tips. Everything was so tough, it tasted like it had been sitting in the oven for hours. The hojo's and seasoned rice was good, but thats it. My advice to people is, make sure to tell them to make everything FRESH!!

I have been coming to hickory hut since I was about 2 years old (I'm not 38) back then it was Art Songs ... But anyways ,this is honestly the best chicken wings on earth .. I have traveled to many states eaten a wide variety of chicken wings .. But nothing compares to these .. they have the best flavor , texture , amount ,sauces ... Trust me ,if you havent ,you'll want to try this ,specifically for the chicken wings . I know it looks run down and the staff seem to be less than friendly but believe me when I say it's worth it .
Wheelchair accessibility: I feel like a wheel chair could get in and out pretty easily
