Last minute decision to eat there last night. Got a table immediately (about 6pm), staff was all friendly. I ordered the Lemongrass Thai Chicken, my spouse had the turkey burger. Oh. My. Goodness! The chicken was superb! Just enough spice without burning my Minnesota taste buds. Spouse said his burger was very good, but I think he was a little jealous of my meal. Dessert time came, and I jumped at the words Chocolate Torte. I didn’t read the description, so it was a lovely surprise when it came with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream, some fresh blueberries around the sides, and a fruit-flavored sauce drizzled over it all. I brought some of my chicken home, pleased that the carton is compostable.

Loved the food! I'm a huge fan of anyone that does a good job with brussel sprouts and these people definitely do 🙂 enjoyed my mock cocktail. The thin and tonic was refreshing and delicious. The service was top notch! Quick but not rushed, personal but not intrusive! Check out there weekly special for 2 people! Fantastic deal!!

We saw mice running around in the restaurant. Didn't get health inspection info when we asked about it. Said they just put up new traps a few days ago.

Service was excellent - server was friendly, attentive, and fun. Food was meh - pierogis lacked flavor, burger was average, salad dressing had too any herbs and was almost inedible. Restaurant decor reminded me of a Bath and Body Works store. They played obnoxious holiday music that made the vibe worse.

I hardly write reviews but this place was too good not to. We are from out of town and this was close to where we stayed so we went for breakfast and then the next day for lunch. The food is soo good and came out the quickest I've ever seen. The servers both days were so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We come to the area 3-4x a year and will absolutely be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience Highland grill!

Yeah, so I’m from Chicago and visiting my folks who have recently moved here. They’ve had dinner here a few times and said the food was good, so they took me here for breakfast. Yummy yummy yummy. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage, and it was perfect especially with the accoutrements. I tried the folks’ local eggs and the oatmeal flapjacks, definitely very tasty. Great service from everyone, Gracie was our server and a delight, owner cleared our plates and thanked us for coming in, and the ambience is very good. I’ll be back, so check it out!

My husband and I go to the Highland Grill several times a year as we live in Minneapolis. This last visit with a friend was very disappointing except for the service we received. The young woman who waited on us was very efficient and friendly. We all agreed the coffee was tasteless. No flavor. My husband added cream just to have a bit of a taste. Clearly the restaurant had made a change from the previous time we dined there. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and they were over cooked. The hashbrowns for two of us were oily. I’m not sure what’s going on there. Proceed with caution if you decide to dine there.

Not overly impressed. The service was good. Our waitress Holly was great. The host for some reason stared at my fiance and myself the entire time and made us feel VERY uncomfortable. Lady we realize we are both colored do not worry we have money and can pay for our food smh. The food was ok, not enough for me to go back for. The lemonade was unique... definitely something I'd recommend to give a try. Parking is very limited. Noticed that after we paid, the host made sure to look if we tipped, thought that was a bit rude.

actually bullshit reservation system. reserved a 6pm slot for their date night special just for them to have to split a table when we arrived (no tables really reserved then). we were sat literally 6 inches from another group that just sat down. why take reservations if this is how you are going to treat the guests. we were right on time btw. 6pm sharp. the steak was sooo good last time which is really disappointing bc the ambience this time was literally so atrocious that we had to leave and go somewhere else
