EAT ON THE STREET: the space outside in summer is really fun and its actually quieter OUTSIDE when its really busy inside. The steak perogies is a showstopper and so is the Brussel sprouts. Its a perfect friend spot to catch up and get reacquainted, they allow dogs outside and its a nice spot to have the dog with you ( well mannered of course) and hand out for a little funshine date wit your pet.

This is our new go to in Highland Village in St. Paul for lunch and breakfast food. Classic American diner food in a clean and comfortable restaurant with many booths and tables. They have daily specials on the caulk board, that always have something delicious to offer. They usually have 4 really good soup offerings. It's nice to have a selection that isn't just chicken noodle or tomato basil. I love the beef barley soup! We had breakfast food and was happy they offered a keto type offering, I just skipped the toast. The veggie mix is such a great alternative to hashbrowns and very nutritious. They are very accommodating and always helpful for dietary needs. The bakery case had some items that looked really good. I have to stay out for now. The food is really good, the people are nice and it's comfortable and it's not a chain restaurant. Support local business and you will find something here as there is an awesome selection for any meal time.

We stopped here while on our way back to our hotel from the Minnesota Children's Museum (we were visiting from Chicago) on a Saturday afternoon. I had the best BLT-A of my life, my son's chicken tenders were so juicy and crispy and my husband got the cheesecake which he said was the best he's ever had. The place was easy to find, lots of parking available and we were seated right away. Highly recommend!

Ordered to-go, the two bottles of Diet Coke I received tasted horrible and flat. Looked at the expiration and they expired a nearly a year ago in Oct of ‘24.

Overcooked and undercooked. Insanely inappropriate conversation topics by our waiter. Very politically expressive here, and potentially discriminatory toward certain type of people.

7/22/2025. I haven't been here in years, but when I was in St. Paul everyday it was a fairly regular stop. Food and service, both excellent and a warm, cozy atmosphere. I will make a point of having breakfast there next week. Then, I will update this review.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful late-lunch here as it is nearby the MSP airport - the hubby and I were excited to share this old college haunt with our boys!
I have celiac disease (am strictly gluten-free) and I had the Sweet Potato Hash. They have a dedicated toaster, so I agreed to the GF toast. This meal was THE BEST! Not just for breakfast, ya'll. Surprisingly spicy! Not typical upper-midwestern fare.
The rest of the fam had mac n cheese, and burgers. My husband was really impressed with the quality and tastiness of his burger (it was not a bit over-cooked or dry).

Last minute decision to eat there last night. Got a table immediately (about 6pm), staff was all friendly. I ordered the Lemongrass Thai Chicken, my spouse had the turkey burger. Oh. My. Goodness! The chicken was superb! Just enough spice without burning my Minnesota taste buds. Spouse said his burger was very good, but I think he was a little jealous of my meal. Dessert time came, and I jumped at the words Chocolate Torte. I didn’t read the description, so it was a lovely surprise when it came with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream, some fresh blueberries around the sides, and a fruit-flavored sauce drizzled over it all.
I brought some of my chicken home, pleased that the carton is compostable.

Loved the food! I'm a huge fan of anyone that does a good job with brussel sprouts and these people definitely do 🙂 enjoyed my mock cocktail. The thin and tonic was refreshing and delicious. The service was top notch! Quick but not rushed, personal but not intrusive! Check out there weekly special for 2 people! Fantastic deal!!
We saw mice running around in the restaurant. Didn't get health inspection info when we asked about it. Said they just put up new traps a few days ago.
Great neighborhood café. Breakfast items we had were tasty. Not a big place, so fills up kind of quickly.
Great food. Small venue. We had a reservation. Small group for a holiday meal. Nice selection of beer.
