The breakfast biscuit and the cheddar chive biscuit are so good. Cute inside, fast service. Really good pastries.
WOW! Was not disappointed. If you are debating this I would just try it!
Was recommended this place from a neighbor.. woke up this morning craving a biscuit sandwich and a nice home made breaky. Made our way to the Hot Hands off Snelling and walked in, nice peach color walls, inviting atmosphere and windows to the kitchen to see how it’s all crafted.
Many pastries and desserts for everyone’s liking but that is not where my taste buds were drawn too. Went to the counter and ordered a ham and pimento cheese biscuit and my girlfriend got the maple chicken biscuit + we added the loaded potatoes. I was thinking this was just a regular old hole in the wall with an okay breakfast.. NOPE.. This place blew my cravings out of the water.. first bite of the biscuit was phenomenal. Creamy pimento cheese, delicious ham, and warm flaky biscuit.. I’m hooked.. this is just 1 part of our 3 piece breakfast. I got to try my Gf’s chicken sandwich, also delicious. Hers was a little messy but wow the crispy chicken, was a delicacy I don’t always eat but you pair that with the same style biscuit and it’s *muah* bakers kiss. Now you’d think I would be done with these two delicious sandwiches .. nope. The breakfast potatoes were way better than any potatoes I have had in months.. they were cut into decent sliced slivers with their seasoned mayo and garnished with chives I think. Imagine biting into the softest warm potatoe that feels like a mashed potatoes with the creamy mayo elevating the experience to the next level.. i could go on and on about it.
Price is a little up there but paid $45 for 2 sandwiches and the potatoes. BUT I’m super contempt and would like to come back to try the other goodies here.
5/5 would recommended and coming back maybe in a few weeks. Don’t think, just do!

This is a great little spot. The pies and pastries are good, and the biscuits are everything you want in comfort. Highly recommend the party potatoes as well!

Knocked down to 3 stars from 5 because my biscuits and gravy was served cold. The thermometer near the kitchen entrance read 69 degrees and that’s about how “warm” my food was. No complaints and lots of praise from the 2 others I was with.

Wowsa! Best potpie I've ever had. Amazing crust—I almost never like crust, but this was amazing. Definitely coming back to get a sweet pie.

As good as my home cooking. Just a joy to go and buy scratch made pie.
A nice stop for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I look forward to trying the chicken pot pie in the future. I really liked their basic biscuit with seasonal jam and butter. It was nice and flaky. The apple cider was also very good. I ordered the pear pie, which is new. It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow me away flavor wise. I think I would have been happier with the apple pie. I also ordered the lemonade + blueberry rooibos tea combo. I can't tell if I honestly got that or just got an iced tea, but it was lacking on the lemonade. Still a very delicious, unique stop in St. Paul.

We had Hot Hands cater their mini pies and a regular pie for our wedding. We have their pies regularly and they never disappoint on quality. They had the pies ready for pick up. Everyone enjoyed the pies.
Only thing is that I wished they taped all the tin baking trays (they did for two of the dozen). The mini pies are in little tin baking cups so they ended up sliding around while driving (carefully). But we made it work when the pies got to the venue.
