Went here for the first time and have mixed feelings. The cinnamon roll french toast was amazing! And the rhubarb pie filling was exceptional. But for a pie place, I'd expect flaky pie crust. It was tough and overworked. Maybe I have too high of standards growing up on my grandmother's lard pie crust that was so flaky and light. The pie and the space are beautiful but the crust left something to be desired. Still leaving a 5 star review because I know that's important to a small business and I would definitely go back for that french toast!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I came here after a poor experience at a nearby coffee shop. I was immediately greeted by smiles, exceptional looking food, and a fun atmosphere with good music. The employees were very personable and I let them know they were my second stop of the morning. I ordered the quiche, which was amazing and came with a little side salad. They also brought me a free cookie because of my sad time at the other coffee shop!! I will definitely be returning. Spread the news!

Truly one of the coziest places - for both food & vibes - in the area. I adore Snelling Ave.; the views from inside here & the drive to & from are gorgeous. Their pie day celebration/ sale was just delightful. Love every thing about this place. 🧡🩷🧡🩷🧡🩷🧡

We stopped for breakfast on our way out of town on a trip recently, first time being there. It's amazing! My partner and I each had the griddled biscuit with gravy and bacon. Coffee was simple but in my opinion not very good - there's also a bar to go get your cream and sugar but it's not helpful for anyone with mobility issues like myself. Food was fresh and hot, a bit pricey for what you get but they earn a good reputation. We'll be back!

Delicious. Absolutely fantastic breakfast.

The chicken pot pie was absolutely delicious. So flavorful, and I’ve never had a crust like this before. It was perfectly flaky and buttery, almost like a croissant.

Hot Hands constantly has the best food, best pies, and best vibes of any restaurant in the Twin Cities area. The staff are very warm to everyone that walks in the door and the team in the kitchen serves up a variety of great culinary concoctions. The pies and sweet treats are delicious and the savory foods are packed with flavor in every bite. This is one establishment worth frequenting!

The breakfast biscuit and the cheddar chive biscuit are so good. Cute inside, fast service. Really good pastries.

WOW! Was not disappointed. If you are debating this I would just try it!

Was recommended this place from a neighbor.. woke up this morning craving a biscuit sandwich and a nice home made breaky. Made our way to the Hot Hands off Snelling and walked in, nice peach color walls, inviting atmosphere and windows to the kitchen to see how it’s all crafted.

Many pastries and desserts for everyone’s liking but that is not where my taste buds were drawn too. Went to the counter and ordered a ham and pimento cheese biscuit and my girlfriend got the maple chicken biscuit + we added the loaded potatoes. I was thinking this was just a regular old hole in the wall with an okay breakfast.. NOPE.. This place blew my cravings out of the water.. first bite of the biscuit was phenomenal. Creamy pimento cheese, delicious ham, and warm flaky biscuit.. I’m hooked.. this is just 1 part of our 3 piece breakfast. I got to try my Gf’s chicken sandwich, also delicious. Hers was a little messy but wow the crispy chicken, was a delicacy I don’t always eat but you pair that with the same style biscuit and it’s *muah* bakers kiss. Now you’d think I would be done with these two delicious sandwiches .. nope. The breakfast potatoes were way better than any potatoes I have had in months.. they were cut into decent sliced slivers with their seasoned mayo and garnished with chives I think. Imagine biting into the softest warm potatoe that feels like a mashed potatoes with the creamy mayo elevating the experience to the next level.. i could go on and on about it.

Price is a little up there but paid $45 for 2 sandwiches and the potatoes. BUT I’m super contempt and would like to come back to try the other goodies here.

5/5 would recommended and coming back maybe in a few weeks. Don’t think, just do!
