Joan in the Park is an amazing restaurant. The staff was so attentive and kind and the food was amazing. I don't know a lot about wine but they helped me find something I loved and that went really well with the food. I'm really looking forward to going back for my next celebration.
We had a great time at Joan's. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, so they had Happy Birthday glitter spread on the table and they took our picture to commemorate the evening. I indicated I eat vegan and they were very accommodating to my need, but not overly so. Only easily adaptable menu items were offered. There were no vegan desserts and no attempt to make one up. I would guess the request doesn't come up very often. Overall though, my wife was very happy.
The experience at Joan's was outstanding. Right from being greeted at door to when we left. The food had great choices and there was nice sized portions. Our server was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and the wines. The wine portions were great and the parings were perfect. Love the place!!
