The food here is such an incredible value. Most things are under fifteen dollars, including the house made pizza, which is price fixed no matter the toppings you choose - at $13 I believe it was. It is good neighborly kind of place and I love it. Full bar, free popcorn, good beer selection.

Played Die Hard on TV super loud the whole time we were here. Couldn't hear my buddies. Bartender was ignoring us and barely washed our glasses. Dudes doing coke in the bathroom.

Average hole in the wall, typical bar; separating itself by its friendly, safe, personable staff. This establishment has reasonably priced cocktails and the west 7th charm you are looking for. Dan has helped me most often and is exactly what i need in a bartender his clever witty demeanor sets the tone to the perfect night cap destination.

Came here after a wasted Uber to St Paul Tap when they have it all over that they were open til 2am only to lock ppl in and out at 11:45pm. So we took another Uber to Joe and Stan's and had a great time. Met some fun locals, had some good drinks, and learned about how SPT likes to take your ID and run it through some machine that will post it on a big TV screen for everyone to see where you live and your personal info. It's a NO from me dawg. Imma keep dragging St Paul Tap until they change their hours. Go to Joe and Stan's instead. You'll have a better time by far.
Parking: You have to park on the street as far as I could tell but you'll wanna Uber there bc drinks are good and cheap.
I love this place. Family owned and operated have been coming for 20+ years. The upgrades they’ve made over the years have been a great improvement on the interior and option to sit outside as well. Super friendly great service great food and great prices. Not to mention, all of the games promos and last but not least Al’s candy.

This racist establishment kicked my husband (who has never been there before as we are from out of town) out and told them they weren’t serving him, because they mistook him for another black man. Even after he showed them his out of state ID the bartender refused to acknowledge his mistake. As a former St Paul girl, I can’t really say I’m surprised by this behavior, but the shock was still real nonetheless. Do better.
