Service was extremely slow and my 55$ steak was subpar at best. The dinner started out well but went south very quickly with extremely slow service and bad steak. Our waitress didn't stop in to check on us to even see if I wanted another glass of wine, sat there for at least 30 minutes after apps and salad waiting for meal. Filet was charred and tough.

When our server said it was 'part of his job' to sell us membership in the 'family of restaurants'. It was very off putting. We will not be returning here. The server did a great job overall but to make them do a hard sell and leave a pamphlet on the table was insane.

I ordered the pan-seared walleye and it was delicious and perfectly done with a lovely brown sear. The garlic infused bread basket is always good--and the creme brûlée was fabulously creamy. We were a large group and were seated in a very pleasant cozy room that was perfect for lots of private conversations. Love Kinkaids!

My husband and I were there on a Sunday at 4:30 for his birthday. The place had only a few tables occupied. Service was attentive not overbearing. Food was excellent- I had shrimp and scallops. My husband had filet mignon. We both brought some home. The cheese cake is very sweet - I don't eat a lot of sweets but my husband thought it was amazing. We each had a glass of champagne - very good and it was served in a very pretty glass. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions and again, it did not disappoint.

I have been dining at Kincaid's Restaurant for decades. Usually before the MN Opera. As always the food was excellent. We had a quite booth as requested. My only quibble was that we had to request bread. All the tables around us were receiving bread and we had none so I asked for some. Other than that the wait person was warm, efficient and professional. I have been accumulating points thru the Landry Select Club and my much to my surprise had enough point to comp the entire meal with an ample surplus. The restaurant manager was very helpful facilitating the transaction. I really liked the 3 course menu choice. I chose the Cesar Salad, Crab Cakes, and a Vanilla Flan. All were exceptional. I will be returning in February.

Kincaid’s was amazing! Popped in with my boyfriend for dinner and left full, happy and satisfied to say the least! The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had.

Great tasting food, quiet atmosphere, slow service for getting apps and main coarse. Staff polite and attentive, food out slower than usual and expected.

My husband and I were out having a dinner with friends before the Minnesota Wild game. And as usual, we were greeted the moment we walked in by smiling face from our favorite maître D Rhonda. Keep up the good work Rhonda you are awesome. We also had amazing service with our server Ann. The food was amazing. The drinks were awesome. We keep coming back. Thanks Kincaid's.

Table for 3 was a bit crammed, I had difficulty cutting my meat without elbowing my husband. My prime rib was overdone but we had an event to get so so I did not send it back. Waitress was friendly but a bit absent. Creme brule, shrimp scampi and lobster bisque were delicious.

Dropped in unexpectedly before an evening at the Ordway. Very accommodating and seated near windows. Staff appears to enjoy the experience of interacting with the customers. Appreciate the hospitality of Shannon our server. Food options and wines extensive. Been awhile since we last visited but deserves a second look if you are in an impromptu mode of seeking a fine dinner.

We went to dinner October 1st at 6:00 P.M. We were greeted by staff who were dressed great and had a very welcoming and positive attitude. We were immediately seated in a fantastic spot that overlooked the restaurant. Our server was prompted and super polite. Our order and food was served in a timely manner. The food was fantastic. The portions were just right. I felt like I had enough to eat and I didn’t feel like I over ate. The price was inline with the food and atmosphere. I looked over the bill and didn’t see any added changes that I’ve seen at some restaurants in Minneapolis. I tipped the server 28% which I feel she more than earned. I would highly recommend Kincaid's in St Paul. Parking was also super convenient as well.

I took my wife there yesterday for our 2 year anniversary. It' was our first time going there whem we were seated the server didn't ask if you were here for a special occasion. We both ordered the 9 oz filet we both thought the steak lacked seasoning. I just thought the place would be more friendly.

I brought clients in last week for lunch. Food was good and service was great. Definitely a great place for business meetings.
I ended up forgetting my receipt and I needed one since I used a company card. I went in today and the GM, Alex Hoehn, was so helpful and emailed me the receipt. I always appreciate that kind of customer service because I know, from my own experience, it can take some time to find the receipt. Thank you!
