We tried to go a month ago, but there was an event at the site, so we couldn't find any parking. I'm glad I tried again! The cocktails were great, and the pizza and burrata was delicious. The crust was amazing, and I was told they had just changed it. I had a flight of whiskeys, which were good. Had to get a bottle of rye to take home.

I love when places like this repurpose old industrial buildings. It makes a great atmosphere.

Didn’t go into king coil just ordered food while grabbing beers at lake monster so I can’t speak to the cocktails or atmosphere. We ordered a pizza and a sandwich which were underwhelming at best. The pizza had 0 crisp and minimal flavor. I’ve had frozen pizzas better than this. Very uninspired and clear that they don’t really care much about their food but will still charge like they do.

Our group was there specifically for happy hour at Lake monster. Many of us were ordering pizza from the patio. Several people were able to order successfully using the QR code, but a couple of us got stuck in a very weird cycle with needing to agree to purchase some weird subscription that was an overlay on the website. We subsequently went inside to order. Staff was very helpful. When my margarita pizza arrived, everyone at the table looked at it with a lifted eyebrow. I had requested a well done pizza. The crust was very oily, and very, very tough as if it was old and overworked and even kind of soggy. It was sad. Several people at the table commented on it. I ate a piece a friend had a half of a piece. I decided to not request a new one since I was already frustrated with the ordering process. I brought the rest home to compost. Other people thought their pizzas were ’okay.’ One person ordered salad and said it was ‘fine.’ We’ll probably be back for Lake Monster, not so much for the pizza. ?

Stopped to try the cocktail room. Great vintage industrial vibe, and good cocktails. Sat at the bar, the bartender was fairly inattentive, and I would just say surly. Missed out on an opportunity to get us to come back again and again.

This review is specifically for the pizza. We first had their pizza a little over a month ago and it was fantastic. We’ve since had it three more times and it has progressively gotten worse. Severely under cooked and soggy crust the last two times reminiscent of school lunch pizza. Wish it was more consistent.

Good service, fast turnover for food, and lovely outdoor seating, especially in the summer.

The pizza was not great and it was expensive for the portion size.

King Coil is nice if you're at the brewery and just need to eat, but I wouldn't make it the destination.

Wouldn't go again. Sorry!

Annoying and pretentious! No pop, no beer, no pizza with red sauce! We asked them to make a supreme pizza with red sauce and it was awful. Minimal sauce - felt like it was on purpose - and very little cheese. We didn’t ask for olives - hate them - and it was covered in olives and olive juice! So gross! The crust was lacking the golden crisp cheesy corners of Detroit-style pizza. Don’t bother, there are so many better pizza places!

The only bad thing about this place is not enough people enjoying this hidden gem. Craft spirits? This is next level craft brewery. Craft everything. Whats more to say? Its the equivalent of wrapping your entire menu in bacon but without wrapping everything in bacon. 100%

This place is lacking on everything.
Its just a money grab.

Riny expensive pizza.
Drinks were Meh.
Service must not have good training or they just work in a toxic environment.

2nd try and never again.

Ordered the plain massive pizza and added pepperoni and mushrooms. With tip it came to $53. Picked up the pizza and half the slices did not have either pepperoni or mushrooms. On the plus side it was pretty cheesy. Bottom line very overpriced for what I got.

First visit to King Coil Spirits. We enjoyed a couple cocktails; the house made margarita and the lemon-tini. Both were delicious!
We also shared an app which was equally good.
Our server, Montana, was a delight and super helpful!
Very nice patio and the inside has been redeveloped and looks lovely. We heard they have brunch on weekends so we will be back for that. Highly recommend this place!

Very expensive pizzas for the size and lacking both sauce and toppings. We were at the brewery but they bring the order to you so can’t comment on service, drinks or atmosphere. Based just on the pizza I would say they need to up their game.
