The menu felt both familiar and fresh, with rich sauces and handmade touches throughout. We ended up wandering through dishes that struck just the right note, and the service kept the evening smooth without ever feeling rushed.
Great place for a night out. I would recommend a reservation for a table, however they are accommodating with open bar seats. The food was good, i enjoyed the tortellini and my friend had the alfredo. I usually stay away from eating pasta because I find it sitting heavy, but the flavors of the tortellini dish overpowered my dread of a food coma afterwards. Our waitress gave a good amount of cheese so not complaints there. Only thing was the seating area was weird. It made sense...
After many experiences at la grolla this time was not the same the food quality is down.maybe to busy or maybe Antonio the owner wasn't there? But for me is one of the best Italian in MN.
