First, the customer service is phenomenal. I called in 15 minutes before close and the lady on the phone was kind of enough to help me decide what chocolates would suit my tastes. She packed a box of twelve truffles for me, all personalized to my preferences, and they were phenomenal. The truffles were smooth, creamy, and had a wonderful snap. All the flavors were unique and wonderful. I'd highly recommend if you're a chocolate lover. I will update the review once I get another box for myself, which is soon.

This is the best coffee shop in downtown St Paul. I come to Legacy every week because the coffee is amazing, the service is friendly, and it's worth getting coffee here if you happen to be downtown.

I ordered a Christmas gift for my friend online and when it arrived, she refused it for some reason. It got returned to Legacy and it became quite an ordeal figuring out what to do with it. Chris at Legacy was wonderful. I eventually went and picked up the package myself and I am so glad I did. The treats are delicious and the customer service is impeccable. I am a fan for life!

Oh the nostalgia I had walking in here was amazing! Prior to COVID, this was a regular stop for me working downtown Saint Paul and since the shut down and remote work - I haven't been here in 3 years. I am very pleased to see it is still in business as many of the other shops nearby didn't make it. Legacy Chocolates has always been a polished establishment and still is. The staff wear white button up tops and greet every customer with a smile. Located within the skyway, there are various windows of the shop where one can see staff pouring, mixing and displaying chocolate which is a sight to see in itself. They offer varying cocoa percentages, a combo of iced / hot caffeinated drinks and teas and various gift items like tea tins, zip ups and ornaments. If you are craving anything sweet, don't even get me started on their cookies and bars - to die for. Come support this business if you can! It's a beauty.

Before you even get to the chocolates that are absolutely delicious. This is the best place to get coffee in downtown. The muffins are unique and a perfect snack. Staff is friendly and efficient. An absolute gem in the skyways.

Grabbed an affogato to go and a couple of their truffles recently! This was my first time trying an affogato so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Their silky smooth vanilla ice cream and tart espresso both complement each other well. You get the sweetness from the ice cream which gets balanced out by the tartness of the espresso. As the ice cream started to melt towards the end, it incorporated into the espresso and made for a tasty experience. I'm not a huge coffee person but this was a wicked combination of flavors. Later on, I had the pleasure of enjoying their truffles which were all unique in their own way.#1 Mint TruffleThe mint truffle was the perfect balance of chocolate at 85%. You get that mint flavor right away which also leaves a nice aftertaste. This percentage of chocolate I found to be a good balance in terms of being able to enjoy all the minty goodness.#2 Caramel TruffleNext, there was the caramel truffle which was 41% chocolate and rivaled the mint truffle. There was a nice milkyness to the chocolate and smokiness from the caramel. The flavors were distinct in this truffle and it kind of reminded me of flavors that you would get in a Riesen. I really enjoyed this truffle as well.#3 Raspberry TruffleLastly, there was the raspberry truffle at 99% chocolate! That raspberry taste was upfront and also left a pleasant aftertaste. However, the percentage of dark chocolate was a bit strong and overpowering at times. Therefore, I would recommend 85% or less in this truffle if you aren't a huge fan of that strong chocolate taste.
Legacy has wonderful chocolates, but they also have fantastic coffee drinks, baked goods, teas, and chai. A friend of mine tells me it is the best chai, perhaps in the world!! I don't know about that, I'm not a chai drinker, but the baked goods and coffee are great.

The truffles are divine... I love grabbing an assortment for housewarming, hostess and birthday presents. I also love their cold press concentrate... it is perfect.

Love Legacy Chocolates. I loved them in college when they were in Menomonie and now that they are in St. Paul its like the old days are back with such a treat. I have used them for work on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. When you find something that works you go with it! I continue to go back and back and back.
