Lulu’s is a true neighborhood gem! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is beyond delicious. The gordita and alambre are absolute standouts, and everything else we have enjoyed here is delicious too. We love having this place in our neighborhood and hope it stays for a long time!

We ordered pastor tacos and chicken enchiladas. The tacos were awesome and served with homemade verde and roja salsa. The enchiladas were simply delicious. The restaurant was extremely busy but the food was well worth the wait.

I pass this place all the time and finally decided to try it and what a disappointment. Originally I was feeling like a burrito but they were advertising an LA burger with pineapple that sounded interesting so I gave that a shot. Maybe shame on me for ordering a burger at a Mexican grill but holy smokes they need to remove that item from the menu immediately. The beef patty was clearly a frozen, pre-formed one instead of fresh and had that same flavorless, rubbery taste and texture as my middle school cafeteria. The fries were the same, just frozen and reheated garbage. And with a Pepsi ($4 for a bottle when they're literally attached to a gas station where you can get the same thing for half... Absolutely insane) and tip my total was $25 dollars. $25 for what tasted like hospital food. I'll try to go again and actually get that burrito (or literally anything other than the burger) and remember to just swing by the gas station next door for my drink.

Finding a late-night taco option for our wedding was way harder than I expected! After months of calls and emails with tons of taco trucks and taco bars, we finally found Lulu’s Salsa—and they ended up being an amazing choice!
I have Celiac disease, so finding someone who could accommodate gluten-free needs was a top priority. Lulu’s Salsa worked with us to make sure everything was safe for me to eat, which I so appreciated.
I stopped by one day after work to try some tacos, planning to just grab one chicken and one beef taco to share with my husband. While I was there, I saw a birria quesadilla on the menu and decided to grab that too. Lulu’s Salsa actually covered the tacos as a trial, which was such a thoughtful gesture! We also got to sample all their salsas—everything was absolutely delicious. Truly 10/10 tacos!
For our wedding, we went with ground beef and shredded chicken tacos (with all the toppings included), plus trays of Spanish rice, chips, and guacamole. We ordered 150 tacos total, and the pricing was incredible—all of that for under $700! Every other vendor we got quotes from was between $900 and $1,600, so this was such a win for us.
The only hiccup was on the day-of timing. We had planned for tacos to arrive at 9:00 p.m., but they didn’t get there until around 9:36 p.m. I had guests asking where the tacos were, and I ended up having to step off the dance floor to call and check in. It all worked out in the end, but I’d recommend they ask for a “day-of contact” for future weddings so someone other than the bride or groom can handle those details.
Overall, though, Lulu’s Salsa was wonderful to work with, and their food was outstanding. If you’re looking for delicious, affordable tacos for your event—especially if you have dietary restrictions—they’re 100% worth checking out! 🌮💃
