I stopped by Mac’s after a round of golf at Como and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. It beat my expectations in all areas. The fries were delicious and crispy, the cod fish was fantastic, the tartare sauce was some of the best I’ve had out at a restaurant. The coleslaw was fresh and yummy. And the cheese curds lived up to their name, just as good and if not better than the MN state fair!
The owner took our orders and it was nice to support a local small business. I will definitely be revisiting soon!!

I have a shrimp allergy. I would of loved to have tried their fish. But I couldn't do the cross contamination.
Delicious food! Will be back soon!

Excellent food! Reminds me of my youth when we came to Minnesota to visit Grandmother
Good food. Unfortunately the online ordering wouldn't work, so you have to order at the counter and then hang around for a while waiting.

Highly recommend to anyone. So glad I chose this place.
Everything is fried. OK if you like fried chicken, fried fish, fried shrimp and French fries. VERY
limited seating. Overall it is mediocre.

We all had different fish. Halibut, cod and mahi mahi. Everything was excellent and the fries were fresh cut and delicious.Coleslaw was good, tartar a bit sweet. After ordering at the counter you can sit inside at one of the few tables or there is outside seating.

I decided to stop coming here after 3 decades of eating here.
I love the food but it stops there. Ownership has let this place rot for decades. It's actually become quite gross in there. The words hello, thank you, you're welcome or have a nice day have not been uttered there since the middle 90's, regardless of how often you are there or how polite. But again I blame the owners, it all trickles down to the staff. I also know they pay their employees the bare minimum as one employee told me last year.
Owners I am begging you to sell this place to someone who cares even just a little about service and cleanliness.

I'm from New Zealand, we take our fish and chips very seriously and these are some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Perfectly battered fish. The tacos were phenomenal. Will definitely come back here.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Best shrimp taco's in Minnesota (maybe ever in my life?) Such quality ingredients!

It was my first time here. I ordered the two piece walleye with chips(wish they were actual waffle chips instead of fries) and coleslaw meal. And a customer gave me a coupon for a free taco. I chose the walleye taco and that thing was so good I was tempted to go order some more. I will definitely be back just for the walleye tacos.
