Love this place! Wish they could expand and add another floor for more seating. Maybe this fire is a blessing in disguise. I hope for a quick reopening.Parking: Parking lot is located behind Magnolias. Turn into the alley and you see it immediately. You can park on Magnolia and Payne as well.Kid-friendliness: I've been coming here since I was a little girl and have great memories here.

Excellent neighborhood restaurant on the east side of St. Paul. I have eaten here for many years. We recently visited and had our usual Lumberjack and American Favorites meals.

Food was cold and sitting on counter when we picked it up. Had roast beef and it was so bad (tough) and no taste to it. It didn’t looked like it was fresh. Gravy was salty very unhappy.

Well, butter my biscuit and call me satisfied, 'cause I done found the pearl of the South right here at Magnolias Diner! Let me tell y'all, this place ain't just good – it's down-home, finger-lickin', heartwarming goodness that'll have ya shoutin' "yee-haw" from the rooftops! That fried chicken? Lawdy, lawdy, it's like heaven on a plate! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. I tell ya, one bite and you'll be dancin' a jig faster than a chicken with its head cut off!But it ain't just the chicken that'll have ya grinnin' like a possum in a persimmon tree. Nope, it's the service too! The folks at Magnolias treat ya like family from the moment ya walk in the door.

This place is perfect when you want breakfast! The service is always great. The weekend Steak breakfast special is my go to, but the choices on the menu are fun to explore. They also offer weekday breakfast specials. Portions are heavy and I like that. My new fave spot that I’ve been missing out on my whole life.
