This was my first time dining at Mancini’s Char House. It was a very large restaurant and fairly busy, but they have lots of seating. We were greeted with water and a plate full of snackables. It has peppers, pickles, and tomatoes that are marinated in an italian dressing. We were also served with garlic bread and rye bread. I love free bread, but this bread is made charred and not very flavorful, so I did not enjoy it very much. I ordered the Sirloin steak cooked medium with a baked potato on the side. The steak was incredibly juicy and full of flavor. It was very worth the price. We had some fancy drinks that were yummy as well.

Very old line steakhouse with everything you could expect. Family owned forever. Free rye and white garlic bread plus pickled goodies. MEAT.

This place knows what it is (an old-school steakhouse and supper club) and does it amazingly and unapologetically. I loved the char on the bread, the relish tray was tasty, and the steaks were high quality and cooked well. Also loved the almond cake we were gifted! Great place to celebrate a special event.
The food was not good. Nothing was seasoned. The green beans were disgusting, my husband couldn't eat them. The steak had to be diced for the edible portions. I ordered medium rare and it was incredibly raw and cold when it came out? The shrimp was wildly overcooked and gamey. The waiter was rarely ever seen. We were out of water and never got refills. It took us forever just to get the check and then she left before we could hand her the card, but that was a blessing due to the fact that they charge a 3.5% admin charge on card payments on top of tax. We dropped enough cash so we wouldn't have to wait another 10 minutes to be allowed to leave.
Did I mention the cleanliness? Every waiter had a rag on them, which is not hygienic. The staff members were not helping each other even though there seemed to be tons of them!

We arrived at 5:30 and seated immediately. The host asked us if it was a special occasion. It was, my wife's birthday. No aknowlegement from the server at any time, so why ask? We ordered two old fashions. Good, but incredibly small for the price. We both ordered the filet. The house salad it came with was all lettuce. No onions, carrots or other ingredients. The type of salad you would expect from a fast food joint, but not as good. The entree was very good but you had to choose between a veggie and starch. Really? For $47 the meal should include both. Definitely a one and done restaurant.
Steaks were great and drinks were reasonably priced. Our server Jenny was super sweet. While checking my ID she noticed my birthday just passed, wished me a happy belated birthday and to my surprise packed up a dessert for me on our way out! What great customer service.

I had the steak salad. My husband had a steak. The garlic toast is just amazing. My salad was on the money so was his steak. Highly recommend great service. We also had drinks very reasonable price.
