There’s a tiny parking lot behind the building but it fit only like 4 cars. It’s better to just find parking in the residential neighborhood and walk over.
Service was okay, just a little slow (one person only). Seating can be cramped feeling. Tables were still dirty but we just took a napkin to it. It’s also so cold in there.
Khao soi noodles stood out among everything we ordered. The flavor was delicious and the chicken tender.
Stay away from the papaya salad. It was ordered spicy but was not (for comparison hot Cheetos is spicier). It came out very very mild like the peppers were forgotten. Also….This is the first papaya salad ever that tasted watery, bland, and just off. I’ve never had papaya salad that tasted so watery before so this is new. I prefer mines without the addition of water to make the sauce soupy. We took it home with the intention of draining all the water and seasoning it ourselves so it wouldn’t be wasted. There are better places to get papaya salad in Saint Paul.
The zaap chicken had a very nice flavor to it.
The rice and chicken was also very good. Drinks aren’t bad either.
I would come back to get the noodles again and maybe try other things on the menu. But it’s not high on my returning list.

Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to recently. We got noodle soup and a few appetizers, perfect for a chilly St. Paul evening.

Will absolutely be back!

I've been meaning to try for the last year and finally stopped by and had lunch. Ordered the Samosa and the Pumpkin curry and vietnamese coffee. All were really delicious. I will definitely be back.

Vegetarian options: There were several dishes that could be made vegetarian as you can choose your protein.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. It is wheelchair friendly, but I wasn't able to check the bathroom situation.

Khao Soi was unbelievable. Ever since my trip to Thailand I’ve been looking for Khao Soi on par with what I had on my trip and I finally found it at this restaurant.

What a gem of a place! Went here on a random Wednesday night and I'll say it was amazing. Food was great, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was cool. Everything on the menu looked awesome. Our food was so good but I forgot to take photos. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Mandalay Kitchen took me by surprise in the best way. While I went for the Burmese cuisine, the Juicy Lucy Burger ended up stealing the show—juicy and perfectly cooked with cheese oozing out at every bite. Their variety of boba and Thai teas also hit the spot, balancing the meal perfectly. The open-air space makes it great for families, and it’s a spot I’ll definitely be revisiting.
