This is my first time trying Filipino food in the Twin Cities and it was delicious! The pork adobo was delicious and I had pork BBG on a stick which I never had. The orange sauce that came with it was sweet and made the meal that much better. The servers were also friendly.

Amazing food. Amazing owners. This is our two year old favorite restaurant. They greet her by name and this is the only food that she will destroy besides chicken nuggets. We easily go every two weeks. Once a week during the cold months when we used to mall to get her energy out.

Had the Halo halo and a couple of other things not fast food but made quality it like getting a home cook meal in a food court worth trying

If this is the same as Manila Sizzling Plate, it’s now inside Burnsville Mall in the fastfood area. I don’t think they’re in this location anymore. Food was great at Manila Sizzling Plate! I would highly recommend.

Absolutely worth going to the mall for just this. The sisig is exceptional, but everything we had was great. The lumpia Shanghai, pork BBQ, sisig, all great. We will be back to try the pancit and others.

Sadly this place has closed as of Oct 22 2023, as per their FB page. This was my go-to Pinoy restaurant whenever I'm visiting this area. Good luck Rowan and company!

I have been hooked on trying Filipino food after learning about the variety it has to offer in its cuisine through Filipino food vloggers. I did some research prior to coming here and learned their menu is always changing. You can either check their Facebook page for the menu of the day or just wing it and see what they have to offer. I looked at prior menus and everything looked delicious so I was going to be stopping in regardless.

Before I get into the food, I just wanted to note how friendly everyone was here. The customers shared some recommendations while the lady serving me also helped me pick out a couple dishes. The gentleman working was very personable as well and made me feel like family! He stopped by a few times to make sure everything was tasting good and was also great to chat with. I would recommend this place based on the customer service alone. It was a very happy and uplifting vibe that the workers were giving off which really made for a great experience.

Now, back to the food. Since it's an á la carte menu, you get the opportunity to try a bunch of different dishes. I ordered the lechon kawali, pork adobo, dinuguan, lumpia shanghai, and a halo halo to go. Everything was delicious in its own way but the pork adobo was probably my favorite. The meat was ridiculously tender and flavorful. Although, the lechon kawali with the sauce they provided was pretty killer too. Everything was seasoned perfectly and nothing was too strong in terms of spice or flavors. The dinguan was new to me but a customer told me it was good so I gave it a shot. For anyone unfamiliar with this dish, it was meat I believe that is cooked in pork blood and other spices. I also got a cup of fried rice which paired well with the dinguan. The leftover stew could be topped over the rice too for some tasty bites. It might sound a little crazy if you aren't an explorative eater, but I found it to be pretty good! Don't knock it til you try it.

However, if it really came down to the star of the show, it would have to be the halo halo. Don't get me wrong, I would come back for some pork adobo, but this halo halo was kind of life changing. It made me feel like I was in a game of Mario Kart if that makes any sense, specifically rainbow road. In other words there was a lot going on and I was trying to make sense of everything. None of these ingredients would've been anything special on their own, but when combined it was a masterpiece. You will have to stop in and try it to see what I'm talking about. This was the best treat I have had all year in terms of taste and uniqueness.

Anyways, I will eventually make my way back here in the future to try some other dishes they're cooking up. If you haven't been here yet, make sure to stop by and show this place some love! You will be happy that you experienced some Filipino comfort food.
