My friend recommended me to go there for cinnamon raisin bread.... I was not impressed and It was over priced 😞 Cub used to have a fantastic, what I would describe it as a 3# roast, It was so huge.... Nicely priced 😉

Bakery items are alright if you can make it there on a Wednesday.... this bakery is not open on the weekends. Ive never been to another Bakery that isn't open Saturday and Sunday.
First time here! From the outside it looks sketchy, but I went inside anyway & glad I did! Nothing is gonna stop me from a donut! They had quick service, lots of items to chose from. If you need hotdog buns, they got em. Hamburger buns? They got em! Crispy garlic toast? They got em! Cream filled donut? They got em! Plain donut? They got em! Cookies? They got em! Bread? Yup, u guessed right- they got em! I ate a cream filled donut in the parking lot, so soft & fresh! Delicious! Try this place!! I bought 6 donuts for $8, great prices.

I love Maplewood bakery, it’s very nostalgic when you walk in the doors. The Only bakery I’ll eat from at this point. This old world bakery is not like what you are most likely used to, bc this is quality. The donuts have a density to them, none of that light airy crap.
I’d tell you my favorites, but then too many ppl will want them! lol
Don’t listen to that bad reviews, I’ve literally been coming here for over 30 years. My mom has been going to Maplewood bakery since the 70s. This was a place my grandparents loved as well.
There is nothing better than a made from scratch pastry/donut from a recipe from our prior generations.
The owner Mike is a very hard working man that has kept this place running with quality products for over 20 years. I pray this place will always have an owner like him running it to keep the customers getting highly quality delicious baked goods.
Please support this small business that’s been in this spot for decades so they can keep it going.
It’s well worth the drive, in my opinion.
Many ppl don’t realize that there’s only 1 baker and he has health issues last year causing him to have to cut back his hours. I respect that he is only open 4 days a week to take care of his own health 💕💕
