We have been buying baked goods from here for years. The food is good, the staff is friendly. You can't eat inside, but the atmosphere is small-town-bakery, which is great.

This is the best bakery in town! It's high quality, the pastry tastes like something made with care. One of my favorites ,that I can't get anywhere else, it their nut bread. When I was a kid we got it from the Dixie cream bakery, it doesn't exist anymore.
Everything I've ever gotten there is good. I can recommed the cinnamon crisps too, much much better than Cub's.
check for hours because Mike is recovering from open heart surgery. I'm SOOO glad he's doing well enough to come back to making the best treats anywhere. (My grandkids love his big frosted sugar cookies!) I've been going there for 40 years!

The last of a dying breed? This is quintessential no-frills neighborhood bakery. Great service. Great products. They're off the main drag, so you'll need to seek them out... but they're worth it.
Member of another local bakery family here sending you all the best for good health. Your establishment provides a great benefit to the community especially in the wake of so many fake and overhyped bakery trends. Even your competition misses you. Look forward to going back when you’re back.

This is one of the “real” bakeries left, no fake chocolate frosting here!!! I’ve been going to this bakery for over 20 years I bet… it’s just up the street to the left … ( okay, if you’re driving east on Highway 36, take a right on Frost Ave, drive down until you reach English street, then drive around the Roundabout -exiting on English St…it’s Just a couple shops up on the left side of the street, you’ll see a tall sign that says Bakery and Liquor Store (they’re two different entities but located next to each other. The REASON I’ve gone to that bakery for so many years is because of their “Carmel Pecan Pastry or roll (whatever you want to call it.Of course when I went there today around 1:30 ish… They were ALREADY SOLD OUT…it’s better to show up early, but I suppose it varies everyday, no guarantees …? or ?! Another thing thing that calls me back there is the Birthday cakes they sell! The small individual size. They look like a mini birthday cake about 3“x 3” AND NOT JUST FROSTING ON THE TOP…BUT ALL 4 SIDES!!! I like to keep one around in my freezer, so when I in a mood for something sweet, I take the cake out of the freezer and put on top, one very huge scoop of vanilla ice cream (preferably Häagen-Dazs Vanilla or VANILLA BEAN!) Good good stuff if you get in the mood, it’s there at your fingertips, I had one in my freezer for a month now but I feel a SWEET TOOTH ALL coming on!!!
Very nice worker
