I usually enjoy coming to this bingo and I’m a frequent customer. Today I had an uncomfortable experience with Christy, the lady who sells the cards. Earlier in the night, when I won a bigger prize, I left a tip $15— I don’t know if she saw it or not, but I did leave one. Later I won again and only left $1 because I genuinely needed the rest of the money. That’s the reason I was playing — to try and win. Instead of simply accepting it, Christy handed the $1 back to me with an unfriendly expression.
Tips are voluntary, right? Her reaction felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this because the place is fun, but no customer should be made to feel uncomfortable for not giving the amount someone expects.

We’ve been coming to this place every week to play bingo because we really enjoy the atmosphere, but unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with Christy, the lady who sells the prize cards. She was nice at first—probably because we always left her good tips (even large amounts when we won)—but lately her attitude has become very rude.
We still tip when we win, but apparently not the amount she expects. Today, when we gave her a tip, she said “that’s crazy” and threw the money at us, which was extremely disrespectful. She also talked badly about us to my friend, saying that we “just win and don’t tip enough,” which is completely inappropriate.
We were also told by someone else that she claims the chocolates she offers are only for people who tip her enough, even though she never says that to customers. That creates a really uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.
Tips are supposed to be voluntary, not mandatory, and no customer should ever be treated that way. It’s a shame because we really liked coming here, but this kind of behavior completely ruins the experience. Hopefully, management will take action.

Stopped in for the first time while my car was getting fixed nearby and had a great time! Large bar 6 tons of seating and eclectic decor. Walk around and check things out!
The bartender is friendly and knows how to make a drink. The crowd is mostly regulars who banter freely with each other and make you feel welcome..
Nice array of beers with a local Octoberfest on tap. Had a Club Sandwich, nothing special but cake with a side of green beans in sweet chili sauce that certainly upgraded the meal!
Bottom line: great pub, good food, good drinks, great atmosphere! Go here!

I just DEVOURED a pizza fry if with only sausage added my mouth is in ecstasy, the sauce is good to order extra of avs worth it's weight in gold at home! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Stopped in today with my sons. A single server was taking care of everyone during a vikes game. We had everything we wanted/needed in a reasonable amount of time. The kids ordered chicken tenders, which appear to be house made and tasty. I had the mac sliders, and onion rings. Probably one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever eaten!! I’ll be back for a date night with my wife, she’ll appreciate the tasty food as well.

We moved to Saint Paul in 2022 and we were stoked when we found McCarrons. We quickly became regulars, even before we knew George (owner) was our best friend Teddy’s cousin, and Al (bar manager) is his doppelgänger. My husband and i are both in the industry, so we know how rare it is to find a spot where you feel like family. My previous employer, and other favorite restaurant Darkhorse closed, sadly, in February. McCarrons stepped up and hired a handful of the staff, making our experience even better. Lastly, Cristi is in the pulltab booth more often than not, greeting us with the best smile and baked goods that are so delicious I don’t have words. Alyssa aka Chump, is the newest fire hire. She always goes out of her way to accommodate you and offers up comical banter. Overall ten out of five stars. Oh, and don’t ever start me on the garden and coy pond.
