shutting down all three lanes of I-94 on a weekend is absolutely the stupidest shit i’ve ever had to suffer through
I got a flat tire on 35W/36 and unfortunately didn't have my jack or impact. A MN Dot truck stopped immediately and helped me whip the spare on and I was able to get off the shoulder!
There's some good guys that work for this company. There were lots of cars and it was dangerous so we didn't small talk much. I wish I got him name so I could demand for him to get a raise! Thank you again!!!
Most incompetent state agency in the country!
Your roads suck
Well known for it's poor planning. Every chance they have to fix a mistake is taken as a chance to double down on it. They want us reliant on public transportation apparently
So, I have until now had good experiences with the MNDOT. But I called them to ask a couple simple questions concerning their new rules for STS vehicles (8840.5925) and when they called back on our office phones, our office manager was given a lot attitude from them while they were apparently trying to get a hold of me by asking for some other persons name, the guy even yelled at the office manager (who had nothing to do with these questions I had) for asking him questions trying to figure out who they were actually trying to get a hold of. Then when I spoke to him he treated me like I was stupid for asking the same questions that "tons of other people have asked about" (his words) and given attitude also basically saying that "the rule is so vague that is easy as mud to determine", when the vagueness of the rule makes it difficult to determine if we are compliant or not. So lesson learned, DO NOT CONTACT MNDOT for any questions about their rule changes and just do as the rules state to the letter. So I did exactly as the rule states, no more or less, and I am pretty sure when I get to my next inspection they will state that the items are not compliant. When they tell me this I will have the inspector listen to the rude recorded conversation with the DOT office and hopefully they will determine based on that call that they have to consider it compliant based on what they told me. And as far as communication goes, maybe try calling the right name and number number given to you in the voicemail instead of calling the office and asking for someone that does not exist, Don't you think Tim?
Every time a driver just blows right past me and doesn't pick me up....I don't pay when the next bus comes and I give him/her the reason why as i take my seat in a not so polite tone.
Expand the freeways and fix the potholes you lazy bums
St Paul might plow your streets, ~2 days after the snow stops. And when they do, they'll pile it up at the end of the driveway for you.
Yet another failed system in the incompetent liberal controlled government. Either they’re the laziest workers around and don’t plow or salt on time ever or dems aren’t funding them and corruptly funneling money to feeding our future.

What a pathetic job of snow removal on hwy 7 between St boni and hwy 41 on 11/30/22
closing down lanes on main avenue in moorhead for an "experiment" was a disaster. do better.
The photo is a summary of MnDot’s critical thinking. A 10 mile swath of interstate cones off with zero work being completed therein.Simple things like rotating 24 hour shifts by contractors, rolling cone zones that move with the work instead of blocking off miles of road that will EVENTUALLY be worked on, and not stacking work on viable detour routes would improve completion times and quality of life for commuters. But they don’t care and aren’t known to be, as a whole, robust thinkers.
Never seen more inefficient road construction. Like why shut down an entire lane for miles at a time so work can be done on a tiny 1/8 mile stretch. How about learn from more civilized states and do road construction at night and stop wasting peoples time
Thank you MnDOT for keeping the roads tidy, clear and drivable! Just wish there was more regards into posting where road construction will be and how long it will take in advance. Other than that need more law enforcement on the highways/freeways since there are plenty of bad drivers.
