I could spend a lot of time I'm there and the layout of the store is easy to navigate. And the staff are kind. Wish we had more stores like this in Anoka shopping area! Maybe next to the Vitamin Shop would be ? bring your cloth or reusable bags to help save the environment- every little bit helps ?

They’re (employees) are VERY strict/rude with parking there, there were at least 20 very empty, open parking spots.. yet they harassed up about us parking there. Had to show the guy my store items, that I DID indeed shopped here that’s why I parked here. Their rude/pushy attitude leaves a bad taste!!!! Plus their fruits aren’t very fresh, if you know how to check for freshness, you would know. THERE WERE 20 empty spots and they still felt the need to harass us about parking there and accusing us of not shopping there. Scares me to continue shopping there tbhThe only thing I like is they have restroom, but you’d probably have to buy something there for them to not watch you like a hawk and judge you…

I'm so in love with this place! I had.no clue you could eat so good and it not really cost you that much. Join the co-op on the LIME membership if you have any type of government assistance. I used my SNAP card and they also take SNAP benefits. The food is so much cleaner, True ORGANIC!! Meat with no additional stuff. I'll miss chicken. It looked at so clean and beautiful. It did not have that weird nasty waxy yellow look to it. The pork was beautiful, meaning the pork was only fed vegetation no hormones products.

You always have to be careful at this store because the cashier's are notorious for stealing items. They won't pack certain items after you pay for them. Alternatively, they'll charge you extra by ringing up items incorrectly. Honestly, this store is not worth shopping at! The produce is also rotten more often than not. Really wanted to like this store but it's always been a miss for me.

Fails, a worker in the market, returned my iPad to me when I left it in the market. She traveled a block to make sure I received my belonging. God bless her! She is Amazing! :)

Same problems as other grocery stores in the area, only more expensive! I love the co-op model but clearly this place isn’t doing it right. 3x the price of other stores with only limited member discounts, and they try to upsell you on stuff at checkout. Moldy and rotting produce sitting out, and simply ridiculous prices on many things.

This co-op was founded with friendliness and community and customer service in mind. Today cashier Kori was more legalistic, non-customer friendly and bureaucratic than the bank or pharmacy I just visited. I bought mealy bad peaches here previously and the produce woman let me sample the peaches , and said that since I was a member she thought they would exchange them for the bad ones. Clearly Kori was out to find a criminal and assure people that friendliness or community is the opposite of what she provides. I am exhausted at the cold, unhelpful attitudes here. This is just a very expensive grocery store. The order staff refuses to add gluten free products, frozen dairy area does not carry many dairy free items...so why visit this co-op? Pathetic that staff do not know quality products or have attitudes that were common from this co op when it was founded.

Mississippi Market Natural Foods Co-op is a local treasure. They offer wholesome options and prioritize sustainability. Friendly staff and community programs create a welcoming vibe. While the product variety is limited and prepped foods can be pricey, it's a go-to for nutritious living.

I will no longer recommend this Coop to others. I repeatedly receive feedback that many people I have sent there request different items that are not carried, and there never is any positive response. I have repeatedly requested the Lavender Love flavor of Synergy, and discussed this and other requests with store staff. Peeps I have sent there explain to me that this Coop is like an exclusive speciality club that does not respond well to those who they see as outsiders( anyone becoming a member in the last 5 yrs). Never any response to requests that Whole Foods, Byerlys, Fresh Thyme and all others carry as they are popular. I will no longer embarrass myself by recommending a Coop that does not have any willingness to listen to customers/owners. Mississippi Market used to be very down to earth when they were located off Pascal and St Clair but now they seem corporate and out of touch with the common person. It is sad, and it pains me to finally write this review after so many disappointed customers share how exclusive and rejecting the mgmt has become.

The world could really use more Mississippi Markets! A great place to find natural/holistic products and I believe almost everything there is organic. Really great quality food!!

I had a great experience at this coop. Generally I find these grocery stores unapproachable. Today I was having a hard time deciding what to get and Joe from the deli was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. He helped me find what I was looking for and set the tone for the rest of my time at the store. The rest of staff was kind and their produce was pretty incredible. They have some of the biggest yams I have ever seen

Great neighborhood co-op, I wish there were more of them spread around Saint Paul for easier walking access.
