We had a very disappointing experience. We ordered the pork sekuwa and thukpa , unfortunately, the sekuwa was burnt and had a bitter taste, while the thukpa lacked flavor and was missing any real spices. The overall atmosphere wasn’t pleasant either. There was an unpleasant smell both in the grocery area and the restaurant itself. Despite that, we decided to stay and give it a fair chance, hoping the food would make up for it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mistake.

The place used to be so good. Not sure what happened. Sekuwa was burned too much to a point where felt like eating charcoal and the thuppa was tasteless for Nepali buds. Won’t try again. Yedi owner ley hernu vayo vaney potential dherai xa but nepali authentic kojey haru ko lagi authentic nai serve garna saknu vayo vaney dherai ramro hunxa. Photo pani halina yespali

I ordered a goat biryani, medium spice. The biryani was phenomenal but wasn't served with raitha. I asked about the raitha and they said they'd be happy to make it, I asked them not to worry because the biryani itself had so much flavor I didn't mind. They still insisted on making it and bringing it to my table. The couple running this place are wonderful folks with stellar cooking skills! One of the easiest entrants into my clean plate club!

Really this restaurant 2 star maybe 2.5 at the best however due to tastebudless kharays giving 5*s to bring down lopsided average rating I m giving it 1*. If you really want to get realistic reviews read of nepalis. Eating there, felt like eating my mom's homecooked meal in Nepal. Hence I would eat out at restaurants to get better tasting food. Noon charko j pato tyehi ingredients..

I walked in looking to get takeout and the place was empty except the workers and their children quietly playing in the corner. They gestured for me to sit down twice so I relented and sat down. They guy offered to explain the menu if I had any questions and helped me order what I wanted. I got the chicken curry and a side of vegetables with rice and it tasted like home cooked food from another place. It's quiet in there and the energy is calm and relaxing. It felt as if I were a guest in someone's home rather than in a restaurant. The food was phenomenal and the people were incredibly kind and gracious, the prices aren't bad either and they give you a lot of food. I'll definitely be back 💖

Great down to earth eatery. The establishment is very quiet and has a romantic atmosphere. The food is VERY delicious and run by family. Very nice, can't say enough.

Food was excellent. Very amazing goat curry that would be hard to find anywhere. Very friendly family feel restaurant. My only issue with this place was the atmosphere. I'm not sure if it has fell on hard times but most of the lights where off. As this was my first time, it almost looked like an abandoned restaurant! We almost turned around a left!! I'm glad the staff stopped us and we held on. Excellent authentic Nepalese food!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities, with delicious food, excellent service and reasonable prices. The onion pakoras and thukpa are my personal favorites, but they have Indian dishes, fried rice, and more.

Tried the food again to give it another chance. The noodles were so salty, chicken Momo's were bland, no sauce. I'm not sure why they are rated well, we had to throw the food out because it was so salty.

This is one of the most authentic Nepali restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is bursting with flavor, prepared with just the right amount of Nepali spice, and the ambience is warm and inviting. The people here are humble, kind, and genuinely sweet, which makes the experience even more special.

We’ve tried so many dishes—momo (both chicken and vegetarian), wai wai sadheko, sukuti, thakali set(both chicken and veg), and Nepali-style chowmein—and every single one was absolutely delightful. Every time we miss Nepal, this is our go-to spot to feel at home. Highly recommend!

We recently dined at Nepali Kitchen and it was a great experience! Their Thali was a best of all for me ,each dish was freshly prepared and complemented the others beautifully. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Nepali Kitchen .
