It was a classic Thanksgiving turkey dinner (turkey, green beans, corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie). It was a generous serving, reasonably priced, and meal came to our table fast. This was reasonably priced on a holiday!

I've been coming here since high school...wait never mind...but somewhere back in the 80's! The only thing that changed is they expanded a bit, and Rosie...God rest her soul...is no longer there. Otherwise it's the East Sides's version of Cheers. Food is great, I'm always greeted like I never left, and generally I know someone from days gone by. Not to say it's clicky... newcomers always welcome. Just nice to have a place to go, where you always know where you are. Oh ... get the cheese curds. Life's too short not too.

They charge for debit cards. The menu list credit cards would be charged extra. In MN it’s illegal to charge extra for debit cards (look it up). Shame on them!

I used to love this place!
Unfortunately the owner is a jerk. I've seen him be rude to customers several times, but I kinda gave home the benefit of the doubt. Then he was rude to my wife. She was walking to the bathroom and he threw a door open in her face and hit her with it. He told her to watch where she was going instead of apologizing.

Food is ok, service was awful. The server had two tables but it took 20 minutes to bring me a bottle of beer. I feel like you get better service if you're a regular. Food prices were high, quality was meh.

Obb’s is a legendary old school neighborhood landmark. Fabulous food, the staff are professionals who are friendly and efficient, the food quality has never disappointed. My personal favorite dinner is Broasted Chicken. In the early 80’s our intramural softball league hung here after the games, got to know my future wife here! A friendly atmosphere where there are plenty of fascinating regular customers. A ten out of 10 kind of place. We prefer to sit at the bar for best conversations.
