Pajarito offers truly wonderful food, but what touched me most was the kindness I witnessed. Tony and the waitstaff showed genuine humanity — I saw Tony sit with an elderly lady in a wheelchair who seemed lonely, and he provided her with comfort and companionship. Another staff member kindly escorted her to the restroom. These small acts of compassion deeply moved me, and I felt inspired to share this beautiful display of care.

I couldn't rate the food, as we just stopped here for drinks. But the margarita, poured from draft, was amazing! Ashley (Sunday Dayside bartender) was super as well. She made the most lovely disarronno sour, the one with the egg whites, not cheap sour mix was like heaven in a coupe glass. Yummy. The best part was her thanking me for getting to make the drink, thats so incredibly sweet! It was so delicious....so 1000 thank yous back your way, Ashley! We'll be back. 💯. 10/10

First, I want to start by saying that we started going to Pajarito years ago, and it was amazing. When we went tonight, though, it was clear that their food had gone downhill.
The chilaquiles were good, but not as good as they used to be. Now they are slathered in extra sauce that tastes a bit like ketchup.
We ordered the horchata, and while it was delicious, it was served in a small glass mostly filled with ice. For the size and amount of horchata, it definitely wasn’t worth $7.
We used to enjoy their grilled octopus years ago, but when we had it tonight it was burnt, covered in tomato sauce and gave us heart burn. Pretty much everything there gives you heartburn.
The crab ceviche was an insult to Latin American cuisine - overly salted on a hard shell Dorito taco shell served with queso fresco. Ceviche IS NOT TRADITIONALLY SERVED WITH CHEESE! Putting crab on a Dorito taco shell was a travesty in of itself.
I don’t know if the ownership changed or if they fired the original cook - regardless, we will never eat there again.

I really wanted to rate this place overall higher, but the service just was not there. Food was delicious, drinks were clever and yummy, but we waited 10 minutes before someone took our drink order, then after drinks had been consumed, apps had been delivered and consumed we still waited 20 minutes before we got to place our food order. We were one of like 3 patrons in the place. It was very confusing. But again, the food was very good and I loved the vibe. Maybe it was just as bad day for that server. 🤷♀️ We'll probably still give it another shot sometime.

The reason I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is because the service was VERY slow, not to mention the chicken burrito was very dry & had way to much seasoning on it. We were seated fairly quickly & while our server was really kind, she was slow. She didn't check in with us, we waited almost 45 minutes after we were done eating to get our bill & we had to flag her down....now even if it was busy, which it wasn't, thats absolutely ridiculous. As for the food..... if you are looking to make substitutions on anything, don't bother. They don't do that even though it didn't say NO SUBSTITUTIONS under the item my brother & I ordered. We were told that they don't do substitutions, well if that's the case, then it should be under every item on the menu or clearly stated at the top of it. The flavor of the burrito overall was really good however, like I stated before, the chicken was incredibly dry and the burrito overall was dry. They don't give you any options for sauces or anything to go along with the burrito. They just put two tiny little dabs of salsa on your plate and a very thin, flavorless runny white substance on the top of your burrito with lots of little baby chives. The atmosphere was all right, it was charming in its own way. I was very confused by the overall Decor because it was kind of a mix of several different things. Pick a theme, stick to it. It was almost $50 for my brother and I. The only thing we ordered were the two burritos, exactly the same, I had a water and he had one drink. You don't get anything with your burrito by the way. Honestly I think it was overpriced for what we got.
